On the driveway, in the shade (for those boring ones of you),

while I dragged my husband-to-be indoors for a good hard sunny day lunchtime shag

I'm pretty damn liberal as a parent, but I would NEVER leave my child unattended iin the car for a "two minute shag". You get the child out of the car, put him to bed, (re-settling if need be) and then pick up where you left off...

In a seperate room.

And you do not partake in foreplay in a car that you or DP are in control of WHILE your DC is asleep in the damn vehicle.

stalking my profile now Grin
That was written years ago, when I was about 19. Times change..

Any time of day is okay I guess- so long as your child isn't cooking whilst you get your rocks off.

monkeyfacegrace · 23/04/2011 23:19

Oh dear DCMP, I will ignore that last paragraph.

OP posts:
Gemsy83 · 23/04/2011 23:20

Yes ignore it- why did you cocking well post in AIBU? You dont really seem to grasp the concept. You asked- people have told, now you are bleating on about ignoring certain parts you don't like.

Thingumy · 23/04/2011 23:20

Peanut I said similar.

I find it quite odd that a parent can't put said child in their room and settle and then carry on with their sexual urges.

DontCallMePeanut · 23/04/2011 23:21

And no comment about the rest? No? Oh, is that because you realise that you are a fucking irresponsible, immature parent? And the rest of us have a point?

monkeyfacegrace · 23/04/2011 23:21

Nope, the paragraph wasnt relevant. id explained that bit further up in the thread. But I can explain again if you like?!

You seem to like this thread!

OP posts:
monkeyfacegrace · 23/04/2011 23:22

Nope again, Ive commented about the rest. See my posts about 3 pages back.
All taken on board and accepted.

DontCallMePeanut · 23/04/2011 23:23

Side note, If I, as a dyspraxic (and therefore very clumsy individual) can move my ds from his car seat to his bed, or his pushchair to bed, without waking him up, then I'm pretty sure either you or DP could have moved your DC

fastedwina · 23/04/2011 23:24

FGS - the issue here was to highlight the danger of children in overheated cars - the bitchfest is doing you ladies no favours - especially as you are trying to appear morally superior to the OP.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 23/04/2011 23:25

Out of interest, where was your 4 year old whilst all of this was going on?

BitOfFunnyBunny · 23/04/2011 23:25

This must be the judgiest, most po-faced thread that I've read in a long time.

monkeyfacegrace · 23/04/2011 23:26

All I did was gt over excited and made a poor judgement. I accepted it, read link, said I had taken it on board, yet the insults keep coming!

My backside is certainly burnt. 3rd degree I reckon. Ouch.

OP posts:
Thingumy · 23/04/2011 23:26

so if it was cold?

it would be ok?

What's the idea temp for a child in a car?

Hmm
monkeyfacegrace · 23/04/2011 23:26

Corr dickie, if I answered that, the witches would have a field day!

OP posts:
DontCallMePeanut · 23/04/2011 23:26

It's not moral superiority, it's common frigging sense...

Spero · 23/04/2011 23:27

monkeyfacegrace, I like you. And I think you are right about what is behind the reaction of a lot of these people. Have a lovely wedding.

monkeyfacegrace · 23/04/2011 23:27

monkeyfacegrace · 23/04/2011 23:29

It reminds me of what a Hindu friend said to me at University about a group of Muslim students who were getting upset over something. 'O if only they would just go and have some sex!' he sighed.

I do think it would probably solve a lot of world problems.

ikilledBosco · 23/04/2011 23:33

I too have been wondering about where your 4year old was
while you were getting jiggy with it?

Yes anyone who thinks behaving like an irresponsible teen is clearly 'not getting any'. What a misogynistic attitude...
