To expect the wife to be a wife

Thought I'd get a birds perspective on this.

The wife is lazy and wont do anything "wifey" basically.

She puts in no effort to cook, clean, wash clothes, iron etc.

Leaves it all to me and I don't think it's fair. Anytime I try to say anything it turns in to a blazing row.

Do you work full-time and she doesn't work? Do you do all the 'husbandy' things?

I'm not surprised it turns into a blazing row if you're describing things as "wifey" and that she "should" be doing.

Draw up a list of stuff that needs to be done, sit down together and decide between you which jobs both of you will do. If both of you work, then other stuff needs to be shared equally.
