To expect the wife to be a wife

Thought I'd get a birds perspective on this.

The wife is lazy and wont do anything "wifey" basically.

She puts in no effort to cook, clean, wash clothes, iron etc.

Leaves it all to me and I don't think it's fair. Anytime I try to say anything it turns in to a blazing row.

See, this would be more plausible if you'd told us she doesn't do enough, or much, or whatever ... it's stretching credibility a bit that someone who posts in your style really gets 'all' the 'woman's work' left to him.

If you both work full-time couldn't you get a cleaner and use an ironing service ?

What does "wifey" (bleurgh !) do whilst you are doing the housework ? (You do know that is called housework, not wife's work don't you ?)
