To expect the wife to be a wife

Stuart69 · 05/04/2011 11:12

Thought I'd get a birds perspective on this.

The wife is lazy and wont do anything "wifey" basically.

She puts in no effort to cook, clean, wash clothes, iron etc.

Leaves it all to me and I don't think it's fair. Anytime I try to say anything it turns in to a blazing row.

Oh Stuart - you're 4 days late. Or 361 days early.

Try again next April.

dontcallmepeanut · 05/04/2011 11:45

Just seems the cheap trick he'd pull...

dontcallmepeanut · 05/04/2011 11:47

Stuart, what did you get your wonderful, amazing, gorgeous wife for mothers day?

WhyMeWhyNot · 05/04/2011 11:55

This has got to be mrstrictly or someone pretending to be.

K999 · 05/04/2011 11:58

Dontcallmepeanut....hopefully nothing cos she's not his mother!! Grin

Desperateforthinnerthighs · 05/04/2011 11:58

I think you would be better off posting this on the feminism board - they will have some fab advise for you!

This has got to be a wind up surely!

delicatequestion · 05/04/2011 12:05

c'on stu I'll use this to do some dusting with you honeybun

noddyholder · 05/04/2011 12:06

We need more men like you! Keep us in line don't let us get above ourselves. I agree she should do more I would if my dh was like you.

dontcallmepeanut · 05/04/2011 12:07

K999, take a look at the "You're an average mother and a crap wife" thread... then you'll get what I mean...

FabbyChic · 05/04/2011 12:10

If the OP was not an April fool the the advice on this thread has been really shit.

If this was posted by a woman saying the man didn't do anything you would all be up in arms.

Stuart I suggest you don't do anything for her at all, there is no excuse for lazyness.

If she is getting a fat arse then stop buying her chocolate there is no excuse for a fat arse either.

oldraver · 05/04/2011 12:11

Is that you Daddy Bear ? I do do the washing that is in the washing basket, and you love cooking

Also you've taken 9 years off your age, I know that school Mum and the pre-school woman said they didnt believe you were 50 but Shock

Moodykat · 05/04/2011 12:32

Shame this is so obviously a troll - I thought my DH had finally learnt to use a computer and was trying to make a point! Grin

Glitterknickaz · 05/04/2011 12:33

-3/10

dontcallmepeanut · 05/04/2011 12:38

I must ask, Stuart... Why isn't she chained to the kitchen sink? Hmm I mean, you can give her enough leeway to get to the oven, and the washing machine, and even put the ironing board up for her (attatch her anklle shackles to that) Sorted...

Now, grow a pair, stop moaning, and maybe think that it's because you're a miserable misogynistic twat that she doesn't want to do housewifey things. Show your apology by doing the housework for a moonth. Without moaning

pinksmarties · 05/04/2011 12:38
