To not be at all surprised to hear about the latest celeb affair?

Bogeyface · 03/04/2011 19:29

DH was quite surprised to hear about Jeremy Clarkson, but I wasnt. Not at all, infact I am surprised to hear if a famous man hasnt had an affair at some point.

They are famous, rich and away from home alot so are bound to be targetted by a certain type of woman. Also, alot of them are cossetted and looked after to the point where they believe that they can get away with things that us mere mortals cant, despite the fact that the paps are following them all the time.

Am I cynical as DH suggests or is he niave?!

OP posts:

Chris Moyles and Bono?? Smile hes far to butch for that hanky panky. It must be Annie Nightingale, shes more his age.

ohnoshedittant · 04/04/2011 00:39

erm....I'd also like to know if clairefromsteps is Claire from Steps. If not I'd like to know how you picked that name? It seems so random?!

(sorry for the thread hijack)

HarrietTheSpook · 04/04/2011 01:09

"PeterAndreForPM Sun 03-Apr-11 22:57:03
I had U2

and Bono's wife

at the same time

the ferry from Dun Laoghaire was delayed, it killed a bit of time"

And Clarkson - slobbery, old english sheepdoggy. doggy style. yuck yuck yuck!

i hope hamsters not at it.

carminaburana · 04/04/2011 09:58

Sexual attraction is not always about looks - JC seems like a good laugh tbh so maybe she likes his company? - plus he could be brilliant in bed... How would we know

He's also rich and famous, so that helps -

PeterAndreForPM · 04/04/2011 10:01

Rolf was shit in bed

All he wanted was for me to play with his didgeridoo

Very selfish lover, he was. And the beard rash was atrocious

Vallhala · 04/04/2011 10:08

Poor old Jezza Clarkson. Hated for a persona that makes him a lot of money and keeps him on the BBC's books, he's probably acting just as much as (and better than) any Eastenders character you could care to mention.

Do people really believe that he's as vehemently bothered by the Welsh, the Americans or vegetarians as he makes out? I'd put a pound to a penny that he doesn't give a toss as long as it makes some of us chuckle and brings in a large paycheque each month.

carminaburana · 04/04/2011 10:11

Absolutely Vallhala - although I don't think it's all an 'act' - exaggerated slightly maybe.

seeker · 04/04/2011 10:16

In answer to the Op - he's neither, he's naif.

seeker · 04/04/2011 10:19

Bolldy hell, no he isn't - he's naive. That'll teach me to look things up before I post obnoxiously about other people's posts.

Sorry. As you were. Blush

carminaburana · 04/04/2011 10:19

Well I'd go out with him...

HarrietTheSpook · 04/04/2011 10:53

Carmina
Tell us what does it for you about him. Go on, sell him to us.

Butterbur · 04/04/2011 10:59

Oh God. Are there any men who given the opportunity can keep it in their pants?

Or are there just those who haven't done it yet, or haven't been found out?

HarrietTheSpook · 04/04/2011 11:24

Let's keep this light and puerile Butter. Wink

carminaburana · 04/04/2011 11:24

Ok - I will sell JC to you.

He's not that bad looking ( I've seen a lot worse )
He has a sense of humour
He isn't pretending to be something he isn't ( men who profess to be feminists are usually closet Jeremy Clarksons )
He's good with cars
He doesn't care what some women think of him
He sometimes crosses a line but accepts he isn't perfect and moves on
He isn't clothes obsessed ( 50 but dressing like a 25 year old kind of thing (think Bono )

He's successful - and that's down to hard work

Do I need to go on?

HarrietTheSpook · 04/04/2011 11:30

I want more from a celeb crush than that Carmina. "Not that bad looking."

I heard Stig turns the car on and he just gets in. True he's had his license longer than my DH (3 yrs and he's 40 plus) and I keep failing my test. I guess that counts as "good with cars."

Hammond was cute until he went all Dukes of Hazard with his hair.

carminaburana · 04/04/2011 11:39

I'm selling you JC - I can't make him look like Johnny Depp - I can only work with what I've got -

MillsAndDoom · 04/04/2011 11:47

snort at this thread - I'd do Jezza - I think he'd be a great laugh [not fussy emoticon]

VivaLeBeaver · 04/04/2011 11:51

Not suprised, he has form.

But he will say that it's a colleague and he was just been friendly, etc. Friendly little kiss, etc. His wife will stand by him either believe him or bury her head in the sand and pretend to.

This is what happened last time even though there were photos of him in the papers kissing another woman in an alley.

He will write that he's suing, etc but never actually do it as he doesn't have a leg to stand on.

GetOrfMoiLand · 04/04/2011 11:52

I don't understand 'Jeremy Clarkson likes his bananas greener than most'

What does that mean?

VivaLeBeaver · 04/04/2011 11:59

Does that allude to green banannas aren't ripe/ready?

LaurieFairyCake · 04/04/2011 11:59

Get orf

Not Jeremy Clarkson, they were talking about Jeremy Kyle who likes erm....younger people

kittya · 04/04/2011 12:31

urgh, lets not go there.

has he got any children?

I agree with what someone else said. Most of it will be an act.
