To not be at all surprised to hear about the latest celeb affair?

DH was quite surprised to hear about Jeremy Clarkson, but I wasnt. Not at all, infact I am surprised to hear if a famous man hasnt had an affair at some point.

They are famous, rich and away from home alot so are bound to be targetted by a certain type of woman. Also, alot of them are cossetted and looked after to the point where they believe that they can get away with things that us mere mortals cant, despite the fact that the paps are following them all the time.

Am I cynical as DH suggests or is he niave?!

As for Bono, I vaguely remember a thread ages ago about dalliances with famous people where he was implicated in some kind of "Look at THIS!" naked-in-a-bathroom wares-on-display type of gesture to a mumsnetter whose name I forget......

Who's AT and PP? I cant do crosswords after a bottle of wine!! are they singers or actors? which is the female?

I havent seen todays newspapers, I was good and got the Observer Sad. They may have blocked her face out because she is famous maybe? I think they only do that if you have got an order out saying that you cant be shown in public. Like some celebs children but, not all of them.

What are the rooms like in Claridges btw ?

oh, really? thats a shame. I thought it made up for their lack of height. My ex sadly was hung like a donkey and he was very short. I just thought it was a given. Smile I still think Bono probably is. Grin

I heard the one about Bono & a now ex radio 1 dj too! I think it was a friend of mine who worked at the BBC so it's clearly true :)

My response to the Clarkson story was the least surprising headline ever. I also wondered if they would be allowed to take the piss out of him on top gear but thought not as it's so heavily scripted.
