Come hither all those who haven't found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from CheerfulYank, gomummy, tired mum, Elmo and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all Smile

Oh and don't forget, last one to leave polishes bench and locks up!

Will be collecting - Blush

gomummygo · 02/04/2011 21:33

That's great Tiredmum. Cream carpets make everything look so bright and open. Do you have a move date planned?

Tiredmumno1 · 02/04/2011 22:30

Hopefully by the end of the week we will be there gomummy, dh has taken quite a bit already

I dont mind it being cream carpets, we have a vax carpet washer, and it works pretty good, so we should be ok Grin

CheerfulYank · 03/04/2011 09:21

It'll be so good to be settled!

I was looking into moving just now...there is a great school in Minnesota that is a few hours away from where we are now. I'd really like DS to go there but I don't know if I want to move. On the other hand I don't think I want to stay in this town forever ...too many decisions!

gomummygo · 03/04/2011 12:57

Morning all! :)

Wow Tiredmum, that is great that you should be settled this week. I am Envy of your carpet washer though! I used to have carpets (cream also, actually) and would often rent one whilst drooling over the idea of having my own!

Cheerful that is a tough one. Amazing how fast school age is coming upon us, too!

valiumredhead · 03/04/2011 15:37

Morning! :)

So much for our lovely weekend that was promised - it's pouring with rain and I have just shut the back door as it's so nippy!

gomummygo · 04/04/2011 13:34

Well it's official. I may as well just build an igloo and be done with it. It is snowing again. Hard. Argh, enough already! I believe it is my fault as I have made plans to take my snow tires off in two weeks. Clearly I have "jinxed" any hope of spring!

How are all you lovely ladies on this Monday morning (afternoon)? What did you all get up to this weekend?

CheerfulYank · 04/04/2011 13:36

Just popping in to say good morning! Be back later! :)

valiumredhead · 04/04/2011 14:15

Hello! go and yanky :)

cold here but dry - don't envy your snow!

Ds starts tennis lessons this evening - will report back later! Grin

elmofan · 04/04/2011 17:41

Hello Smile

Hope you are all well x

CheerfulYank · 04/04/2011 19:30

I'm ok...DS is driving me mad! He didn't sleep well so he is very naughty today. He's exhausted and crabby and started yelling that he hates me :(
So I sent him to his room and he is up there crying. :(

Valium hope tennis lessons went well.

elmofan · 04/04/2011 19:52

Sad cheerful must be something in the air [hugs]
Will you be able to get him up to bed early tonight?

he might be coming down with something.

Grin

Did ds like the tennis lesson valium?

CheerfulYank · 04/04/2011 20:15

Yes, I think an early bedtime is definitely in the cards. He came down and he was "sorry for hurting your feewings" :) He is a totally different boy when he's tired! But I'm trying to teach him that you need to be kind even when you're tired.

PunkPixie · 04/04/2011 20:19

waves I'm new to the thread and I've only been on MN for a week. It's definately different, I'll give it that!

Quick intro- I'm 27 and I live near Glasgow with DH who's 34 and our three kids who are 4, 2 and 1. #4 is due on the 25th of this month. :)

Teaandcakeplease · 04/04/2011 20:25

I had three under four at one point - so I'm impressed at four under four! Wow - go you Punk.

PunkPixie · 04/04/2011 20:40

Thanks all :)

Teaandcakeplease yup it's definately a challenge. It's all good though. Apart from the act that I love the busy life, by the time the youngest hits nursery for five days a week I'll have just turned 30 and I can truly say that I'm looking forward to my 30's being more about me than about nappies, puke and breast pads!

elmofan · 04/04/2011 21:39

Hi punk Smile Welcome to the bench.

Aww cheerful poor ds, cute that he said sorry like
That

valiumredhead · 05/04/2011 09:46

Hello! Grin

Tennis was good, ds LOVED it and have signed him up for tennis camp at Easter then he will start lessons after the holidays.

Hello punk nice to meet you :) < budge up tea and I'll faint alongside you at the thought of 4 under 4!!!!>

yanky poor you - ds used to get like that and was sooooooooo cranky the next day ( actually he is STILL like it now , not a lot has changed!)

Horrible day here today - blustery and wet. Nothing planned today except wading through mountains of washing and getting the house straight. what's everyone else up to?

Oh, I meant to tell you elmo last week my ds did and 'elmo's dd' and spectacularly banged his head at a mate's house last week - huge egg bump and gave himself SUCH a headache! I thought of you Wink

elmofan · 05/04/2011 13:05

Oh no valium poor ds Sad i hate it when they hit their
heads. I hope he is ok x
I'm on driving duty for ds & his classmates taking them
to &from the church for a rehearsal today Smile

gomummygo · 05/04/2011 13:22

Welcome punk!

Morning all, how is everyone today?

Hope DS is feeling better today Cheerful, so sweet that he apologized like that though!

PunkPixie · 05/04/2011 13:37

4 under 5 but still all insanely close! I'm quitting after this. My vagina needs a rest!

gomummygo all is well today. The elder two are in nursery and I'm preending to pack my hospital bag when in fact I'm on here, drinking rasperry leaf tea and eating Hobnobs :). I should really have packed it ages ago but I'm not exactly known for my forward planning!

Thanks all for the welcome :)

*Cheerful how's DS?

elmofan · 05/04/2011 18:35
