Thinking about becoming a call girl

phillangie · 24/03/2011 23:46

I saw an episode on Jeremy Kyle about high class escorts, and it seems very glamarous! So does the secret diary of a call girl. I want that life style. My children have all left home, I am divorced and single so why not?

Will people look down on me? My house needs renovation aswell, so it's a good way to make money. Am I being unreasonable to think I could do this?

Well go ahead then no ones stopping you......you're far too old btw Wink

BecauseImWorthIt · 25/03/2011 00:06

Welcome to Mumsnet, phillangie. What was it that encouraged you to join today?

Stac2011 · 25/03/2011 00:06

you go for it, hope living the dream doesn't become a nightmare! I saw the episode of jezza (dont watch it) and it certainly wasn't glamourising the sex industry. Lets face it they dont need high class escorts when they are exploiting girls from all over the world.

How do you go about applying?

doutzen · 25/03/2011 00:07

DD1 said something similar after watching the last series of secret diary of a call girl
Ooh the conversation that followed shan't be forgotten by her for a good few decades

You ought to renovate your house before attempting to become a high class call girl, though. If it needs work doing it won't be suitable for playing host.

phillangie · 25/03/2011 00:07

I meant the show, not the actual Jeremy Kyle - he's a bit young for me. I don't see what everyone's problem is. I will be working for myself and making a handsome sum of money from every "date". I am not taking any benefits at the moment. I work in a supermarket, and now I want something better for myself.

OP posts:
ApocalypseCheeseToastie · 25/03/2011 00:09

I don't think anybodys really THAT interested phillangie Smile

phillangie · 25/03/2011 00:10

I thought I could use hotel rooms until I have saved enough money. It's clear you all think I am being unreasonable. Well, don't knock it until you try it.
I thought I would run a few adverts in the local paper to offer it up to out of town business men.

OP posts:
phillangie · 25/03/2011 00:12

Will it be unreasonable to only ask for rich men in the advertisement? You know about equal rights and everything.....

I can't speak for everyone else, by my problem is you're not doing it right. There should be a plausible story, then a sympathy angle and then a controversial opinion. You've peaked too early and fallen at the first hurdle.

You've let us down, you've let mumsnet down but most of all you've let yourself down.

You could've been a contender.

doutzen · 25/03/2011 00:14

If you're actually seriously thinking about this, then take some security measures.
I don't know what they could be, though.

YouMakeMeWannaLaLa · 25/03/2011 00:15

Good luck! Sounds brilliant and very glamorous and empowering! Wink

tethersend · 25/03/2011 00:15

Padlocks?

NadiaWadia · 25/03/2011 00:15

you are being ironic, yes?

I thought 'Secret Diary' was tosh, too. (Even though I watched it every week!) I thought 'Belle' would realise what a dangerous and soul destroying 'career' it was in the end and ditch it for a proper relationship. But no, nothing bad ever happens to her, and she will carry on happily, until she hits old age, presumably.

phillangie · 25/03/2011 00:16

doutzen like a mace spray or an rape alarm?

tether Let's hope my future "dates" won't peak too early, eh?!! I don't know what you are talking about.

OP posts:
phillangie · 25/03/2011 00:18

You're right nadia. It is a career. I will finally have a career.

I don't think I will be using any padlocks; fetishes aren't really my thing.

Stac2011 · 25/03/2011 00:19

i wouldn't think ads in local papers would make it high class, it could also be a way of you being targetted by murderers or rapists. How are you going to look after yourself? You sound quite niavé about how safe you will be. Just because you aren't working the street doesn't mean you wont be in danger.

YouMakeMeWannaLaLa · 25/03/2011 00:19

Phillangie Even if you can handle the 'cock' element, could you handle a client with halitosis who loved kissing?

It's a serious issue; you need to think this through!

Tortoiseonthehalfshell · 25/03/2011 00:20

I love you, tethersend. But it's in a glamorous, careery way.

IWouldNotCouldNotWithAGoat · 25/03/2011 00:23

If you have grown-up kids you're dreaming. No-one's paying a fortune to stick it up old arse. By all means become a low-class hooker though.

phillangie · 25/03/2011 00:27

stac I will only be escorting rich business men. They won't hurt me. I'll be in a hotel room with them, so they won't be able to kill me or hurt me without getting caught. Well they wouldn't be rapists would they, because they'll pay me for a service.

I lived with my ex husband for 25 years who had some unmentionable personal hygiene problems, and I never got anything back. At least a client with halitosis will only be for a night, I can handle that. But I will have a restriction on kissing. Only sex. And dinner.

OP posts:
phillangie · 25/03/2011 00:29

I do not wish to engage in anal sex IWouldNotCouldNotWithAGoat. It is a revolting thing to do.

I had my two children by C-section, so I know I am still tight down there, thank you very much.

TakeItOnTheChins · 25/03/2011 00:29

Two words for all you age-ist naysayers:

Wayne Rooney.

There's ALWAYS going to be a market for the older lady.

Go for it, OP. If Katie Waissell's Nan can do it, so can you.

Will they let you keep your supermarket overall, do you think? Might come in handy - men can have all sorts of fetishes.

CalamityKate · 25/03/2011 00:30

ROFL! Grin

phillangie · 25/03/2011 00:31

Thank You TakeItOnTheChins!!!! I don't have an overall - I have a lovely fleece though!
Yes, I wouldn't mind a young footballer...I am sure Wayne didn't hurt anyone when doing the deed.

OP posts:
ViolaTricolor · 25/03/2011 00:34

"My house needs renovation aswell".

A Jackson Pollock style feature wall of desperate strangers' cum stains does not usually count as renovation.
