Who cares, he is not important so his viewpoint is irrelevant to me. He made some sharp observations though, not totally untrue across the board!

I do not think that Toby Young is a complete arse and nor do the parents of 450 odd children who all want places for their children at the West London Free School he is setting up and competing for 120 places. He wants academic rigour and order and discipline and has received applications not just from MN types but from a cohort that reflects the diversity of that area of West London which is very diverse as anybody who lives in Hammersmith will tell you.

Stop whining everybody about TY and do something about education in the way that he has done.

Actually I read his book a while back - "How to Lose Friends and Alienate People" and it was very entertaining. He's quite possibly a bit of a knob in RL, but I've always had a soft spot for people who come clean about their shortcomings.
