i change mine about every 5 days - i also iron them. A habit i got from my mum, altho my mum also irons towels and knickers (which i draw the line at but my nan even irons swimming costumes!!).

Ironing duvet covers! You are all crazy - and have an astonishing amount of spare time.

I don't have an astonishing amount of spare time, I just like my bed to look neat and tidy.

even I don't iron duvet covers - I dry them on the line/over the side of the banisters - and they're flat when they dry - they don't need ironing

BulletWithAName · 26/02/2011 12:13

They do if you tumble dry them. I don't iron fitted sheets though, but I do iron towels.

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 26/02/2011 12:14

then don't tumble dry Grin

I wish I had the room to line dry believe me, it would make things a whole lot easier! Angry

I haven't lined dried since last summer - I use the doors (though that does require remembering to dust the top of said doors Blush) and banister. Also got one of those big clothes airers things which I can fold them in half on and hang over for same effect.

Ah, I can't bear laundry drying all over my flat, it's small enough as it is, and makes me feel claustrophobic. I may have to invest in a line for my balcony this summer!
