To think swinging is URRGH!?

There is are two couples on This Morning just now talking about their love for swinging. They're just your normal looking every day couples. One couple own a swinging hotel and they do to clubs.

I find this really sleazy and just plain weird. She's saying that it's really common amongst primary school teachers too!!

Eeeew I bet they'll be swapping after the show.

AIBU to think this is a very strange thing to do and be so open about?

Coalition-where? trying to defend marriage vows? When the lady, in which we speak of, married in a church and therefore swore to be faithful?

Yes - and when people were insulting her they didn't know that, and it doesn't change the fact that marriage doesn't need to involve monogamy.

This thread says a lot more about the prejudices and insecurities of a few people who seem more bothered about swinging than any of the swingers do, than it does about swingers.

if you are having sex with another person in the presense of your partner, is that being unfaithful or is it using a sex toy?

pink4ever · 15/01/2011 23:07

I actually said a few times on here that I understood fb vetting the potential shag pals etc, it was the clubs that I found most tiring, and people going on Telly to promote their swinging business, and the whole business like approach of said clubs.

I haven't haughtily defended my "vanilla" sex life at all, I don't need to. I've had sex with another woman, and several wild nights under the stars, lots of enjoyment, but I was not committed to someone under the eyes of god in a religion that frowns on divorce and finds adultery immoral. I didn't have a problem with sgb she is single upfront and can do what she likes, but she knows this is an emotive subject and always comes shouting mundane vanillas, and tries to shock rather than explaining things as the other participating ops have, ESP fb.

But, when I heard her say that she was off to the old catholic church tomorrow, then my support waned somewhat. A tad hypocritical, really, like denying calling the norms mundane and being caught out twice for doing so. But hey, I have standards.

Gimp mask? how very dare you! I am a natural beauty and am in no need of such a thing.Am sure that when I finally make it to the Atlantis I will be very much in demand with rita, sue, bob, neil, alan etc.Sadly I fear the likes of brenda are beyond me(I have a phobia of nipple clamps, has been the ruintation of me).But am sure some of the older swingers/ees? will not hold that against me?.

pink4ever · 15/01/2011 23:27

ruination? (I feel a forehead flicking coming my way).

God, I'd be crap at swinging, the very though of it brings back flash backs of being a parties as a teenager and being wedged on the sofa between two couples copping off while I sit nursing my bottle of Hooch. It brings out all my insecurities that no-one would pick me Grin

pink4ever · 15/01/2011 23:38

Off out tomorrow to buy-
white mini-skirt
pvc boots
crotchless knickers(or do they spoil the bar stool "look" iuswim?)
Gimp mask
Nipple clamps(dont want a telling off from brenda) or do I? Wink

Just realised my post about "older swingers" might seem ageist.Apologies(dont want to offend any of the more mature gents/ladies).I am not exactly a spring chicken myself so dont want to limit my options(but its a def no to any "up the wrong-un" action-not against it in any moral sense you understand just never found a lube I get on with).

pink4ever · 15/01/2011 23:45

Le queen-stop trying to put me off.The Atlantis is obviously where its at the moment and I like to be at the fore front(ooh err) of any social gathering. If noone avails themselves of me while prostrate over my bar stool then will simply retire to the ginger lounge(they cant afford to be pickyWink.

Thinks the buffet cross contam is the least of your worries!

StuffingGoldBrass · 16/01/2011 00:11

Yawn. I have no problem with people preferring monogamy for themselves any more than I have a problem with people who like to watch sport or take their horoscopes seriously. It's not being monogamous that makes you a mundane, it's being tediously, hysterically insecure about your personal choices to the extent that you can't leave other people alone if they are (BWAAAAAAAAH!) different to you. Mundanes, like all dominant cultures, feel fully entitled to be rude and/or punitive towards anyone and anything outside their comfort zone, but don't they fucking squawk when they get it fed right back to them?

bupcakesandcunting · 16/01/2011 00:21

You can kiss me Peering I am partial to a bit of lezzer action.

Take no notice of LeQueen. She is the only person on MN who has DCs who do vomit in Farrow and Ball'd Dead Salmon. Gawd love 'er Grin She seems to have a pretender to the Hyacinth Bouquet throne now in the form of Ladyofthemanor. Should be fun.
