...and have rotten eggs and tomatos thrown at them.
How dare they go on holiday and be allowed to have christmas presents etc
They should live on bread and dripping.

Oh lord, here you all go again.
I haven't got time for all this whining ' oh bully me Pag... Dominate me with your big whip and masterful persona "
I have shit to do.

Sit down and behave.

Cupcake.
Actually I apologize.
I have been rude to you.

It would be nice though if you would contemplate that there are some astonishing women on this thread who care for people they love without help or complaint.
It would be gracious if you could think of that when you post

clumsymumsnowdriftbaby · 05/12/2010 21:30

nothing at all to do with this thread, but pag you have the house of my dreams

pagwatch · 05/12/2010 21:35

That may be but I live in it and I am a cow. There is always a price to pay.

It is staggering what you can get off the social though innit.

cupcakebakerer · 05/12/2010 22:04

Yep - shame you're not one of them. I have stupidly been sucked into a thread populated by the benefit brigade who cannot STAND anyone who dare so much as have an opinion on the topic. Quite frankly it's bizarre but I should have known that when I contributed to a side splittingly 'funny' thread ripping into those who dare to question one aspect of it. Definte chips on shoulders I'd say. Oh and another thing that tickles me...I admit I have become darkly intrigued by what's gone on on this thread but i think the likes of pag et al have been in this situation before - what's all this shite? hee hee! Think you've been on the tinternet too long pet.

2shoesnightmarebeforechristmas · 05/12/2010 22:11

wtf are you talking about?

usualsuspect · 05/12/2010 22:19

cupcakebakerer I think you need a lie down

cupcakebakerer · 05/12/2010 22:26

Ooh I'm wounded.

thefirstMrsDeVere · 05/12/2010 22:33

The benefit brigade?

Oooo do I get a long service medal?

Stop picking on Pagwatch.

thefirstMrsDeVere · 05/12/2010 22:35

cupcake
My Goodness, how very riled and angry people are over one point of view - and how much time do people have on their hands!?

Angry us? Really? Can't imagine why? We've only been told on this thread that our families and/or us deserve no help whatsoever, and that somehow we've bought illness upon ourselves.. can't even begin to imagine why we are offended Hmm Dear god.

And can I just add to the person who said about 'walking in other people's shoes'. You really shouldn't say that unless you know someone's situation first

You, of course, never do anything of the sort. "and if you are genuinely in need then there is no reason to be defensive." So, those of us who are upset are not genuinely claiming? Like I said, walk in our shoes.

Have you come across people judging your situation and thinking you claim illegally?

There are people on this very thread insinuating that those of us posting are claiming as a lifestyle choice not a necessity. So yes.

shame you're not one of them. I have stupidly been sucked into a thread populated by the benefit brigade who cannot STAND anyone who dare so much as have an opinion on the topic

How about we can't stand people coming along and telling us we are unworthy of a whole £10 which come nowhere near helping most of us out? Have a different opinion, no skin off our noses, just expect that if you cannot back it up with logic and reasoning that is going to get shat on. And going all passive aggressive with your "don't you have too much time on your hands" comments doesn't count

HTH
