Matt Cooper has just reported an unsubstantiated Reuters story that Ireland has defaulted and is in secret talks. The 2 Brians have denied this.

I am probably using the word 'unsubstantiated' wrongly, not sure - I mean they got it from an unnamed source.

U K did hand out butter and cheese years ago to get rid of the mountains of them.As a low earner with kids I was entitled to it,loads of folk did'nt like them and I ended up with a freezer full of it,I am not too proud to pass a handout but lots of people were.
