on here(mn) I mean ffs
can I just say arse holes to anyone who does that?

OP posts:
valiumSingleton · 23/07/2010 22:48

It depends.

Kind of wanky but there can be mitigating circumstances.

Wordsonascreen · 23/07/2010 22:49

OH ITS too dammn obvious

[runs]

BoysAreLikeDogs · 23/07/2010 22:50

challenge it when you see it

if you randomly post arse holes then you will look a twit unless you explain why you're writing arse holes

porcamiseria · 23/07/2010 22:51

annoys me too
its a bit superior and wanky

PussinJimmyChoos · 23/07/2010 22:51

grammar

MrsGangly · 23/07/2010 22:51

Oooh, this is so painful to read!

2shoes, your thoughts on spelling would be...?

scottishmummy · 23/07/2010 22:51

if one gets the jist of of thread, correcting spelling is picky and peurile

OrmRenewed · 23/07/2010 22:52

But sometimes it is neccessary.

tethersend · 23/07/2010 22:53
crisproll2 · 23/07/2010 22:54

I know Words...my fingers were itching to post but I stopped myself just in time. Am glad you went there before me.
Thought it might be a trap you see..

TheCrackFox · 23/07/2010 22:55

I have the worst spelling and grammar. Without spell check it would be painful to read.

However, I can't stand text speak. They deserve a kicking, they really do.

scottishmummy · 23/07/2010 22:55

some just salivate in expectation of finding/correcting an error - they are passive aggressive bullies.best ignored

Jaquelinehyde · 23/07/2010 22:56

Hang on this calls for my red pen

2shoes · 23/07/2010 22:56

so it is ok to just go and pull someone on their spelling/grammer just for kicks.

OP posts:
stleger · 23/07/2010 22:57

I agree with 2shoes. I usually do.

TheCrackFox · 23/07/2010 22:57

You have to admit that paragraphs are essential. Sometimes there can be a 1500 word diatribe but no paragraphs and I just can't be arsed reading it.

PussinJimmyChoos · 23/07/2010 22:58

No it isn't.

However, if you start a thread about it...it does help to ahem spell it correctly

Maylee · 23/07/2010 22:58

I say arseholes to anyone that does that too. Big fat arse holes.

But, out of curiousity, what are the "mitigating circumstances"?

2shoes · 23/07/2010 22:58

oh whoop de do
I mispelt Grammar
do people really give a shit?

OP posts:
somebodysfool · 23/07/2010 23:00

I think emotional intelligence is more important than the academic type and people gifted in that wouldn't do it.

PussinJimmyChoos · 23/07/2010 23:00

Clearly I do but I am not nasty though

2shoes · 23/07/2010 23:00

paragraphs.. I get
but ffs not every one can spell, I can't but why do people care? does it matter.
or is more important to just pile in and have a pop?

OP posts:
teamcullen · 23/07/2010 23:00

It depends how its done.

I had somebody being really nasty to me over my spelling once and went on and on about it. She then went on to try and make out I was stupid and worthless because I couldnt spell. ARSE HOLE

Most of the time though MNers will point it out and sometimes have a giggle and move on.

electra · 23/07/2010 23:01

YANBU - it's really bad form.

scottishmummy · 23/07/2010 23:01

rude to rock up with "actually their not there" and the crew who correct their own spelling after posting unfortunate will then post "UNFORTUNATELY"

oh get over yourself,no one hangs on every bleedin word
