who said healthcarers would laugh at them?

believe me, they wouldnt. read my post below

nailpolish · 19/01/2009 14:10

and what does earnings have to do with it?

LadyLiffey · 19/01/2009 14:11

It must be my age, but I would tell any man who was 'on at me to tidy up' to fuck right off. I'm only 8 yrs older than you though fruitynutty. In the middle of winter, the idea of having to be tidy down there to please your 'd'p makes me in 2009??

People say porn is harmless, but when normal men start expecting normal women to conform to pornoperfection it angers me. And women accept this.

all ye who do not garden on a regular basis, can you imagine falling over when you wear a skirt, and having a thong on with all that beaver on show?

I do not wear a thong but i do garden as the thought of having to dash to hospital and having the embarassment that on view horrifies me. And yes, I am a nurse, people do comment and they do laugh, so you have been warned.

petrovia · 19/01/2009 14:13

That whole post was a quote btw - none of it was my own comment.

Fwiw I don't really wear thongs. They are, what do you say, incompatible with general comfortableness and aesthetics imo!

nailpolish · 19/01/2009 14:13

i have been a nurse for 15 years and have not come across any who would laugh at pubes

possibly a 17yr old student nurse or a very immature staff nurse...

i wonder which one bollockbrain is

petrovia · 19/01/2009 14:14

Thats reassuring nailpolish. Thanks!

Dreyfus · 19/01/2009 14:15

Nurses "comment and laugh" just because women's fanjos are as nature intended? What nice people they must be.

Well I'm glad you said that Nailpolish! I was in shock there at Bollockbrain's (nice name too) revelation.

nailpolish · 19/01/2009 14:17

CAN I JUST REASSURE YOU THAT nurses do not laugh at pubes. shaved or as nature intended.

LittleBella · 19/01/2009 14:17

If any man told me to wax, I'd agree if he did it first.

Why is it revolting ot see "spider's legs" coming from a bikini bottom? Men often wear little trunks with escaping pubes. Why aren't they told to wax it off?

FruitynNutty · 19/01/2009 14:18

I agree ladyLiffey he knows I just tell him where to go though so it's pointless him asking! He's not really that bothered. Been with him for 8 years and on 2nd pregnancy so it can't bother him that much

I think there's something quite perverted about men wanting it to be so tidy, like a young school girl or something - very worrying

Mooseheart · 19/01/2009 14:18

Liffey I did my own Brazilian last month - it was all a waste of time as dh doesn't care anyway (in fact he said it looked like a small rodent and found it a bit disconcerting) so it was all a load of pain for nothing.

Just off the record I did my Brazilian, tache, lower legs and dh's back () for less than a tenner so if you've the nerve to do your own (I nearly passed out halfway through and felt sick so not sure if I'd recommend) it doesn't have to cost fifty quid.

(TMI perhaps? The Moose is grateful for MN anonymity. )

LadyLiffey · 19/01/2009 14:21

Sprogger, true, with the recession, there will be more brunettes so my hairdresser told me.

Mooseheart, good to know there are men who find a bald fanjo disconcerting!

Mooseheart · 19/01/2009 14:23

Oh it wasn't quite bald. (ahem, apparently that is called a 'Hollywood') I had a landing strip. Now it's a landing strip that looks like it needs weeding.

harpsichordcarrier · 19/01/2009 14:32

lol at not understanding why hair removal might be a feminist issue!
er, read the thread, might be a start...

kittywise · 19/01/2009 14:40

Well I suppose those of us with flappy bits might prefer a little more, ehem, coverage

Megglevache · 19/01/2009 15:16

And what about bleaching bumholes then? Or is that a whole new thread?

Megglevache · 19/01/2009 15:20

NailPolish a friend of mine (nurse in a private hospital)told me that it wasn't unusual for her to have to get the clippers out!
