Labour isn't Working - Thread 42

A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government. 💙☕️

We're gearing up for the Burnham budget. 😬

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Who are you referring to here with 'nonce bonnets'?
Did Burnham or Mahmood use that term?

No of course not! That is the nickname people are currently using to describe these charming chaps, whose ilk Mahmood and Burnham condemned.

So its a vile name that Burnham and Mahmood wouldn't use, but you're ok with it and you're happy to repeat it online.

I see.

It's an offensive name. People have been driven to cover up to avoid arrest even if protesting peacefully.

The majority are just spouses parents. grandparents who can't afford to be arrested, charged with whatever offence is dreamt up on the day.

All while the other side in are immune to prosecution.

Its not clear in the photo who these people are. Could be Antifa, who knows.

What exactly is a ‘nonce bonnet’?

And which people wear them, aside from your those in your image.

I agree it is a vile nickname. But they are vile people. I apologise if you find the nickname offensive. The important thing is that Mahmood and Burnham condemned them and so are addressing racist rhetoric.

So why repeat it if you think its 'vile'? Do you just follow others like a sheep?

Unless you have any evidence that any of the people you are labelling as 'nonce' are actually paedophiles, I'd suggest you refrain.

How do you term the face coverings PA use?

They are followers of Danny Thompson. Do you know of him? He is (thankfully) in jail at the moment.

I am very sorry to have offended you all so much with my use of "nonce bonnet".

Looks just like the Antifa mob too, or some of those at the recent celebrations of October 7.

Honestly, justasking111 they are not decent people and neither is the person they follow.

There were Gosport citizens at that protest and I'm sure they were advised to cover up. Does that make them unspeakable?

You are obviously well within your rights to think or feel what you do. But you do not speak for all who aren't on the right.

Nuthatch26 · Today 10:07

I only heard about this 'Tommo' through mumsnet. Strange to do their advertising for them.

Thanks for your input @SubstandardMotelsOnTheLa. You haven't caused offence, but you haven't done the left any favours.

I don't believe you. It's been all over the news, after he was caught/arrested for slashing an inflatable boat with a rescue worker in it.

I'm perfectly fine, thank you. Very happy to find my way into any thread I'd like to post on.

Well I have said something about Labour. That was in my first post in response to the poster who claimed the government was ignoring racism.
