A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government. 💙☕️

We're gearing up for the Burnham budget. 😬

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

French police have arrested a man described as an “ultra-left militant” accused of torching the 19th-century town hall in Limoges during protests on Saturday.
The suspect has not been named but is said to be on a terror watchlist for allegedly belonging to a violent radical-left group.

That scuppers he must have been paid by the right posts on here.

I just saw a headline about a Jewish mother with a pram being assaulted. What a violent mess they’re creating.

A man has been caught on CCTV punching a Jewish woman in the head as she pushed a pram along a street in London.

A 33-year-old was arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated common assault and remains in custody after three women were attacked in east London.

The Metropolitan Police is treating the attacks, which happened in the Stamford Hill area of the London Borough of Hackney on Monday afternoon, as suspected anti-Semitic hate crimes. The force believes there may be more victims.

That attack is disgusting.

So much hatred and violence coming from the left. Its out of control.

I was listening to the news in the background yesterday and they were desperately trying to paint the riots as somehow equally left and right to blame. Why can't they call a spade a spade?
They would have no such scruples if it was the far right. Even Macron managed to say that it was the far left.

Yesterday I was quite pleased with Andy, about the music on busses and so on.

It now turns out to be just words.

Apparently there won’t be any extra police and bus drivers won’t do anything about it.

What’s the point, then?

Ikr. You would think the govt would have anticipated that the first question they'd be asked would be how they plan to enforce it. 🙄

All soundbites and nonsense.

You know when people say that they had a rat problem but caught it in a trap, problem solved. There's never one rat people with experience will tell you. And there isn't.

Yep

The government has not specified an exact number of officers tasked with enforcing the new rules, with a transport minister explicitly admitting that there will be no dedicated "bus police" hired specifically for this crackdown. 1]
Instead of a new national taskforce, enforcement relies on a combination of existing personnel: 1, 2]

  • Local Patrols: Enforcement falls onto existing local police officers and local authority Transport Safety Officers.
  • No Extra Driver Powers: Bus drivers will not be responsible for confronting passengers, handed any extra enforcement powers, or expected to hand out the £100 fines. 1, 2, 3]

Regarding local council staffing plans, no councils have announced a specific or sudden increase in the number of Transport Safety Officers to accommodate this crackdown.

Good luck Burnham.

Our police force have given up chasing drivers going over 20 mph, they haven't the manpower. They rely on one person in front on the roads to traffic calm.

Horrific

Can't wait to see what theory or excuses some people will make up for this one. Though presumably the majority will only have the 'that is obviously terrible, however' line to dismiss it

So we're supposed to phone the police and expect a response when someone plays music on public transport? 😂
Yeh, that'll work.

They're already coming up with alternative explanations to the attack on the Australian MP. Just like how Ann Widdecombe’s murder couldn't possibly be politically motivated.

Jesus Christ her life hung in the balance and they're excusing the bastard.

MPs. Are now fair game are they?

KathleenDarleenDayKnight · 20/10/2026 13:06

Yeah I knew that bus thing would be bollox. There's no police for anything any more.

The left seem to have given themselves permission to do anything up to and including murder, they have completely dehumanised anyone who doesn't think as they do. Look at the rejoicing over Charlie Kirk and the lauding of and drooling over Luigi Mangione.

Yeah they're pushing the family feud angle because its been reported that the perp is a left wing lunatic.

There’s a reoccurring theme with lack of accountability and responsibility for violent actions. The fire on the town hall, the riots, Ann Widdecombe’s perpetrator, the Australian attacker.

It’s always someone else to blame.

Yes I agree. Its disturbing how the left respond when a figure on the right is targeted. Then without drawing breath they accuse the right of spreading hatred and division.

Yeh, that'll work.

They do next to nothing about fare dodgers let alone people listening to music.

You’d think the money would be better spent enforcing fares - oh wait, nothing’s going to be spent on enforcement against passengers who don’t use headphones anyway, so we’re all good. 👍

Just wait for the notices saying that “it’s a crime (max fine £1000)” to disturb people on public transport, so that Burnham maximises the PR of his stunt. It usually happens like that. He’s tried misleading PR shite already with his ‘urgent’ alert and COBRA meetings. 🙄
