Who’s got their heating on?

Anyone else managed to avoid putting the heating on yet? I don’t think I’ve got into October without using it before (that I can recall) - however this evening is the first I’ve felt I could do with it for an hour or so. But I’m enjoying saving a few quid for as long as I possibly can…

I came home to DH stomping about because he couldn't turn the heating on because he couldn't find the manual for the thermostat. Apparently I'd lost/thrown it.

When he ran out of shouts I explained that it was all available on-line. That's not good enough apparently. So I'll have to freeze.

Ummmm I'm not the one who requested the heating after the long lecture that it was not being switched on until November 😂

Not yet. we have oil, so I’m waiting until the temps drop even more

We light the wood burner at night, and I’ve put the winter blankets on the beds

Glad we’ve made it this far tbh, as I usually cave by late September

Half an hour morning and evening

Heating usually on November to March. One room only. Except Christmas week (3 rooms). So feels positively tropical t-shirt weather at the moment!!!! 🤗
