Thinking of all the victims of the 07 October attacks (and their families and friends).

And the Jewish community everywhere.

Just go away you’re not welcome here

You don't welcome people that see the horror perpetrated by both sides?

People that have lived in Israel, and have felt the tension for themselves? Have lived with and worked for and with Jewish and Arabic people in Israel?

People that have nothing positive to say about Hamas, but can feel for both the people affected by the atrocities of October 7th and the people affected by the actions of the Israeli government?

Fine. I'll go.

But my point still stands.

Not today, no.

What dishonesty. You are pretending that the existence of the antizionist hate movement is an example of Oct 7th not being overlooked, even though the antizionist movement aims to erase Oct 7th as a day of Jewish suffering. It also seeks to erase the continual attacks on Israel by Hamas and Hezbollah and Houthis since October 7th.

I also note your passive use of ‘horrific events since’ without acknowledging that Hamas committed the atrocities on Oct 7th to cause the war that followed.

Gah. Was posting when this was posted. My last post.

The very fact that a small minority of people are TRYING to erase the events of 7th October just shows that it hasn't been overlooked. They are very much focused on it. And they have not been successful.

But I have been told I am not welcome here, so this is my last post.

Dollymylove · 07/10/2026 08:45

How bizarre that the police "cant stop" this celebration of rape and murder, yet they can lock down an entire town to prevent people protesting about 1000s of undocumented MEN entering the country. I must be missing something here.....🙄

On October 7th Hamas invaded Israel and targeted citizens in a deliberately sadistic atrocity where they tortured, terrorised and raped civilians. The attacked babies, children, women and men. They slaughtered young people at a music festival. They filmed what they did and live-streamed it, goading families of their victims. The mutilated the bodies of women, repeatedly shooting them in the face and groin to disfigure them. The women who prepared the women’s bodies for burial said not one could be shown to families as they were all so disfigured. They tied parents and xhildren together with wire and set them on fire. They took hostages to Gaza, including babies, children, women, men and the elderly. They did not kill as many people as they could as they took time to torture, rape and terrorise. The most striking thing about the footage is how the terrorists are laughing and enjoying their massacre. The survivors also repeatedly talk of how Hamas were laughing. Huge numbers of Gazan citizens also participated and a mother, baby and her toddler were kidnapped by civilians. Palestinian covilians also looted the homes of massacred families. The Hamas fighters went through Israeli towns shouting ‘where are the Jewish dogs?’ This was a racist massacre.
In the West there were many many people who celebrated this slaughter and I have heard and spoken in real life to such people. People in the west also tore down posters of the hostages.

It’s a shocking case of utter dehumanization of a nation of people.

This is awful, stunned about the lack of press and media attention this has received.

the press and public seem so biased - sadly unsurprising.

more does need to be done to remember this

Remembering those poor poor victims unspeakable cruelty and inhumanity. The devil was at work that day. They created hell.

INeedAPensieve · 07/10/2026 08:56

Remembering the victims today of one of the most inhumane and horrific attacks I've ever heard of in modern society. Thinking of everyone impacted. X❤️

Then perhaps you could go and start a general thread of your own to memorialise those broader conflicts, rather than shitting all over this one?

Northernrunnerwife · 07/10/2026 09:01

I will spend a quiet moment today remembering both the victims of 7 Oct and the subsequent Israeli genocide.

There are 364 other days to do that.

tilypu · 07/10/2026 08:10

I'm not pretending. It has certainly not been overlooked.

If you can look at what has happened because of that day and think that it has in any way been overlooked, then I have no idea what you are seeing.

I agree it has been overshadowed due to subsequent events, that are directly related. But that just shows how much it has not been overlooked.

It was a horrific event that has lead to further horrific events. I feel for everyone that has been affected by it.

It has been minimised the way you appear to be trying.

Really not the thread for this.
Let people have a memorial for an atrocity. 🙏🏼

It's so predictable, isn't it?
They just can't allow a recognition of 7/10 , which I find sad.

Agreed OP.
I can't think of another atrocity which has been so overlooked, doubted and excused.
Unbelievable horror.

Indeed.

It’s incomprehensible and the fact that this hateful march is allowed to take place again today beggars belief.
