Is finishing inside someone without asking normal if no condom was used?

Date a week ago came inside me without asking. Is this just normal since we weren’t using protection so ‘anything goes’ type thing.

Before anyone has a go at me, it’s my first time doing this (unprotected sex with someone new). Date went well, we booked a last minute hotel after it and he did actually say ‘by the way, I don’t have any condoms’. I shrugged and then he completely dropped the subject of contraception. Didn’t ask me if I was on the pill etc

Had great sex and he finished twice over the evening/morning. Both times inside me.

The first time he didn’t actually say he was about to. The second time it looked like he was about to and I said ‘tell me when you are’ and he told me as he was doing it. Too much info but the second time around was asked from a sensual erm point of view. Not so I could get off him in time

Given that any unprotected sex can cause STI, and pregnancy, why if so would he need to ask or tell me he’s going to finish inside me?

Or is it just a case of you already agreed to the no condom thing?

Really like him. He’s on holiday for two weeks now but seeing each other when back etc

So feel a bit confused as I’ve read something on another thread on a different website that spoke about something similar and views seem to be it’s not okay

are you usually a risk taker? or a gambler? or is it just your health you like to take chances with?

why would you do that?

i had sex with a guy i barely knew. used condoms. the second day i got to know more about him. turns out he used to do drugs and share needles. i had no idea. hot sexy employed bilingual guy doimg alright wirh a nice car. so i hope hes not your guy. if he is, you’d best get aids and other std tests as well as a morning after pill.

wirh regard to risk taking, if you have so little respect for yourself it could come from a lack of care and family love or abuse in your youth. if so im sorry you went through that. counselling helped me.

my friend counselled someone who had to be operated on in hospital after she caught an std from unprotected sex. i wouldn’t risk it now. i’d always recommend condoms. why have an operation or baby you dont want when you can go to a hotel toilet /asda / chemist and buy some.

Do people not read my original post? I very clearly said

Given that any unprotected sex can cause STI, and pregnancy, why if so would he need to ask or tell me he’s going to finish inside me?

Why the pile up to have a go at me? STI risk and pregnancy wasn’t what I was asking about.

I was just curious to know if cumming inside was just expected once unprotected sex had (foolishly) been agreed

I already said I knew I had made a bad choice.
The thread wasn’t about that

The fact your chosen method of contraception is relying on a guy (who was practically a stranger at that point, it's not like you'd built up a trusting relationship) to pull out on time, to lessen the risk of baby jizz, is INSANE.

So. In the light of day, are you now concerned that you might've fallen pregnant? Is that your concern?

Seziah · 28/09/2026 09:07

Yes I think you mislead him into thinking you are on contraception because most people are not trying for a baby with someone they have just started dating. He would definitely be thinking “she’s on the pill”, not “she’s ok with getting pregnant”. Obviously this is not even mentioning STI risk which he doesn’t care about

ParrotPeach · 28/09/2026 09:41

I think if he raised the “no condoms” thing, it was your responsibility to say “and I’m not on the pill either”. No legal responsibility, obviously, and it’s not the worst thing anyone’s ever done, but I do still think you were wrong.

Yes, people can argue that you have no obligation and he should ask, yada yada yada. But I try and be a better person than that. If I know a piece of information that might be important to someone, I don’t withhold it because “they didn’t ask”. And if I suspect someone has made an assumption that I know isn’t true, I’d correct them.

Genuine question OP. If you were not 100% comfortable on the first occasion, and finishing inside you sounds totally normal to me (but with protection), why go for it a second time without further communication?

PetulaGordeno · 28/09/2026 11:36

I cannot believe in 2026 that a grown woman puts herself at risk like this.
When you read a thread about a grown woman who has been gifted genital herpes fort the first time, is left in agony, with a lifelong condition, it is awful.
When he said he had no condoms I’d have literally wheeled my case around and gone home.
Yes, you can bring them. But it’s the fact that it was the only comment around safety came from him and he was basically saying, you aren’t worth the bother.
And you really like him? Honestly, grow up.
You aren’t a young girl. The dating world can be tricky at the best of times and I would not trust my health to a stranger.
Contracting certain STI’s can lead to all sorts of complications.
Firstly, go and get checked.
Secondly, don’t meet a random guy in a hotel who thinks so little of you.
He couldn’t even be arsed to ask you about what you needed.

I mean, whether he completely finished in you or not you’d of had pre cum. It was also half your responsibility to say “ I’m not on contraception of any kind so maybe we can go and buy some protection beforehand” you also don’t get an STI from semen it’s more from just the sexual contact full stop.

I thought we were all educated enough. My partner finished inside of me every single time we’ve done it when I’ve not been on contraception he’s had warnings when I have it’s always discussed where he is finishing depending on how fruity we feel lol.

you did not ask him to get condoms after he said he didn’t have any and you also did not inform him of not being on anything so therefore your as much responsible and I can’t see how you can’t see that.

He should have asked you if he was bothered so I wouldn't worry about that.

But honestly, you two really need some basic sex education centred around important conversations.

Do you mind me asking how old you both are?

A normal functioning woman would have offered the information up “ I’ve got no condoms” “ oh okay I’m not on any form of contraception so maybe if we want to remain safe we need to go and purchase some from a shop on our way to the hotel”

Northernparent68 · 28/09/2026 13:26

Neither of you emerge with any credit

Bestfootforward11 · 28/09/2026 21:08

I feel this is being made more complicated than it needs to be. If someone says I don’t have condoms you need to state what you want rather than just shrug which to me gives the impression you’re not bothered. Eg it’s ok I’m on the pill (if you willing to take the risk of STI) or ok but I’m not on the pill (if you’re willing to take the risk of STI and pregnancy). If you are wiling to take the risk of STI but not pregnancy you need to say that. I feel you’re looking at things from what he did is ok, whereas you need to recognise your part in just shrugging when he said no condom.
