Do you have a keyring for your keys ? and if so, what is it ?

I've just brought a brand new car (first time for brand new, we've really pushed the boat out for this car) which comes with a posh fob (no key - just buttons on the fob). I would like a keyring of some sort attached to it, so I know it is my one (me & DH each have a fob) and am looking for suggestions. Would like something stylish .. would an airtag be suitable ? if lost, the key fob is a lot of money to replace.

Keen to hear whatever else has.

I have a sterling silver Tiffany keyring I've used since the 90s.
I've certainly had my money's worth from it! 😁

I now have a car which recognises the presence of the fob within the car as its "key". I found an Orla Kiely bag with a key chain, so the bag is effectively my keyring. The fob lives on the key chain in my bag. I effectively never lose my keys now.

I don't have one at the moment.

It was a plain red leather fob with my initials on that I bought from Rackhams in Birmingham which I bought 50years ago. It's just finally worn through but I haven't found one I like to replace it. I'm seriously considering commissioning an exact copy from a leather worker.

I have 2.

One that is part of a family one where of our keyrings fit together like jigsaw pieces. Mum, Dad and then our kids have one with their names on. On the other side is an engraved family picture when it’s all put together

The other is just a long silver rectangle with my favourite song lyrics on it.

I have a Take That circus tour keyring from this year. A v cute Majorca keyring from last year and a Champs Elysees one which I bought from the shop halfway up back in about 2017, oh and two Epilepsy Action trolley tokens!

Heh ...same !! Kellogs branflakes did an offer about 30 years ago , save so many tokens get the Swiss srmy knife free! I have used it just about every day since ...and yes, I did have it taken off me once when I attended court as a witness. As a caretaker for 30 years, have used the knife and all the other tools in it loads.

Our car fobs just have the branded car manufacturer key ring attached and nothing else.

All the house keys though have Lego key rings. I love them all. But we do have a bit of an obsession with Lego minifigs in this house!

I have a warfarin alert keyring. Not very exciting but useful.

I love key rings. I currently have a cow with a machine gun 😊

This is a dilemma I’d never ever considered having, maybe because I live in a house with 100s of keyrings. Personally my car key has a TARDIS, DHs has a pocket hug and his football team, house keys have pictures from school/nursery, but keyrings are like magnets in our house, we pick up on our travels, as well as having DCs that have their own supplies of them.

I have a silicone Air Tag holder from eBay and an Air Tag, has proved invaluable many times.

I've got 4 : A big pink plastic K, a very elderly small stuffed wombat, a black leather scottie dog, and a sort of fluffy ball thing. I always get big ones because I forget where I've put my keys and it makes them easier to find.
Although if the fluffy ball goes missing, I know to look in my dogs basket as he steals it and hides it.

I always try to get ones that have no sharp corners; that stops damage to pockets. I had a bottle-opener once that opened my jeans pocket and fell down my leg and into my boot, very unexpected and painful.

I have a cowbell from Austria; it helps prevent me from leaving my keys in the front door 😬

I have a piece of moss agate.

The only things on my keyring are keys!
