Do you have a keyring for your keys ? and if so, what is it ?

I've just brought a brand new car (first time for brand new, we've really pushed the boat out for this car) which comes with a posh fob (no key - just buttons on the fob). I would like a keyring of some sort attached to it, so I know it is my one (me & DH each have a fob) and am looking for suggestions. Would like something stylish .. would an airtag be suitable ? if lost, the key fob is a lot of money to replace.

Keen to hear whatever else has.

I had a little silver frog with a crown. Similar to this (but better! 🤣). No reason, it just "spoke to me".
Then it fell off. I hope it's living it's best froggy life sonewhere.

So hard to find a nice, stirdy but not bulky key ring.

My husband has one that i bought him that has a picture of him with our cat. One if my favourites that didn't last very long was a wooden heart covered in pretty fabric that said 'home' on it. I have a little elephant that the previous owner of our house gave me. Ot was on the keys when she gave them to me, I went to give it back and she said 'no, it's for you'.

I've been collecting keyrings since I was 10 and am now in my 60s so I have a lot of keyrings!
Like some PPs I now use a lanyard and a Tile to help me find them when I lose them!

Etsy have loads of lovely embossed metal keyrings which I like.

We have 3 sets of ‘just house’ keys, which includes side garden gate and garage.
One has a metal ‘Flying Scotsman’ tag
One has a small metal ‘Rosetta Stone’ (bought it in the British Museum,
One has a wooden acorn.

Our car keys don’t have anything extra - heavy enough on their own.

I bought DH a Lego mini fig one for his keys when we were first dating nearly twenty years ago, it is very well worn and missing a leg, he surprised me recently at the airport, he'd been into the Lego shop, with the female version keyring for my keys, cheesy but it really made me smile, I also have a keyring ds bought me for mother's day at the PTA stall at school, it was the first thing he bought me on his own

I do also have a tile so I don't lose them

I have house keys one one ring, a trolley token and club/nectar fob things on another and both - separate - car keys. They're all on separate rings.

They're all linked together on a Steiff keyring with a clip fastening. It's a bear, but I may change to a lamb in the winter.

Not remotely "trendy" or fashionable, but it's big enough and squishy enough to be noticeable and fit in jeans pockets - and it's worked for me for over a decade. 🔑🧸

DH bought me a Lego Eeyore for my birthday. He's dangling off the cover for my brolly.☂

My car key is kept on a separate keyring to my house keys and goes in a Faraday bag when back in the house. That keyring is a shamrock in the colours of the Irish flag. My son bought it me from Dublin last year.

My house keys are on a metal Oasis logo keyring.

A mini torch, a trolley token and a face cover thingy if I have to do mouth-to-mouth.
Be prepared.

I have a trolley token and a beaded one spelling out my name that my 5 year old niece made me. 🥰

For house keys, a sort of apricot sized fluffy black cat with sequin ears gift from best friend. For old car, a Tiffany 1969 keyring that I was given as a Christmas present years ago by a boss (I’d have preferred the equivalent money). So I don’t use it now. New hybrid car doesn’t need one.

Me and my best friends used to give each other fobs at birthdays and at 24 I was given a cute yellow New York taxi cab one by an American friend which I used until it broke. I’ve had sainsburys ones too. Glam!

Any other sets (not many) have no key ring fobs.

Mine is a 2m measuring tape. You never know when you need to measure something in shops.

I have a school picture of my daughter and a coin made from the year we got married with our wedding date on it which was an anniversary gift.

I have a Moomin light up keyring and One of these safety things. Definitely not posh. 😂

Mine is a real old lady keyring with a shopping bag attached. It's saved me a fortune since I have implemented this idea!

My key has a rubber orange cover, because it makes it very visible. It is attached to the outside of my handbag (like one of those stupid fluffy handbag doodads that people pay good money for) alongside a tile. I can't be doing with trying to find the key when I've always got my hands full. House keys in bag.

DH and I have these leather loop letting on our car keys that are stamped with our names. They are really handy when we visit DFIL who has the same model car, and a habit of pocketing the wrong key!

I have a personalised keyring that is supposed to be a little wooden me with my name on it. It's not my name.

It was an end of term gift from a 4 year old who had trouble pronouncing my long name.

He told his parents I was Mrs Ninny and I'm delighted to say they didn't question it. Makes me smile.

I have an enamel Moomintroll wearing a backpack. I also have a tiny orange Swiss army type penknife/multi tool, but I had to keep taking it off for flights. You have no idea how many times it would’ve come in useful!!

I have an Apple Air Tag in a leather fob.
