Do you have a keyring for your keys ? and if so, what is it ?

I've just brought a brand new car (first time for brand new, we've really pushed the boat out for this car) which comes with a posh fob (no key - just buttons on the fob). I would like a keyring of some sort attached to it, so I know it is my one (me & DH each have a fob) and am looking for suggestions. Would like something stylish .. would an airtag be suitable ? if lost, the key fob is a lot of money to replace.

Keen to hear whatever else has.

I've got a thing a bit like this: https://www.orbitkey.com.au/collections/all-products/products/key-organiser-pro-cosmic?variant=46877825794102

so the keys don't jangle around and the top metal loop can also accommodate a car key fob.

I have a miniature/smallest size Swiss Army penknife as my keyring, been absolutely invaluable over the years.

Just be VERY careful if you have to go to court, Parliament, or on a plane...Confused

Mine is a silver disc that says 'This Granny belongs to' and then 3 smaller discs hang from it with my GSs' names on.

My daughter has this one for her car keys. I've just picked the car up following its MOT and am now blushing as didn't think to take it off when I took it. store.lilyallenmusic.com/products/west-end-girl-bag-charm?srsltid=AfmBOooe1suNksqsLOUPjWIhkH2kIonqjzopCnwqeyfQ3JHuVYonnOs9

I’ve got 3 key rings that are nice and personal to me. Two are silver represent hobbies and one has a meaningful phrase carved on a piece of wood.

DD has a Swiss army knife on her keys too. I checked and double checked they weren't in her bag when we went to the airport!

I have my library card as a keyring, it comes with a little hole in the corner for the purpose. I used to have my initial, from Paperchase, but I lost it.
DH has a trolley token, DS1 has a bike, DS2 has the Greek theatre masks for comedy and tragedy.

My keys have a Samsung Smart tag. Best thing I ever did as I can make the tag ring and can always locate my keys.

I inherited my car. I still use the keyring the previous owner (a parent) had on the keys.

It’s a leather animal and I bought it for them when I was about six. It’s very well worn and the garage laugh at it.

Beer opener. I have had since my teens. In my country is very usual to have specific beer opener as a key ring. My father has one too. It has been very useful in many occasions.

Lego blocks.

And a Lego sheet glued to the wall so they can be found.

DH has a couple of characters for his keys, but they always fall off as the keys are too heavy tby.

purplecorkheart · Yesterday 12:26

I have a keychain that came with Red Magazine many many years ago. It is really heavy so I know if I pick up my bag if my keys are in there or not.

I made a talisman out of a crystal, a small key and a pentacle.

A Christmas keyring?! That is one of the saddest things I have ever read.

I think it is a fun idea. Maybe i need to do this to go with many phone covers, i have them for every occasion. They make me smile and are not doing anyone any harm.

Yes, it's one I won in a pub quiz 32 years ago 😆

I was just going to say it was nice of OP to acknowledge your suggestion

I’ve had the same key ring for about 30 years now, a wood key ring with my name that my father got me when I was little at a local craft market. Still holding strong!

A little cornish piskie

AnonSugar · Yesterday 12:59

We have these. Someone gifted us them about 12 years ago when we got our first car.

My keyrings just broken. I'm so sad, it was a little crown that l bought when I went to see SIX. I have had so many keyrings over the years. I like things with my name on cos I'm one of those with an unusual spelling so never found my name on anything. One Christmas i found a pop-up stall doing pyrography so I got a keyring with my name and one with my husbands name as well.

I need to go to SpecSavers. I read ‘pyrography’ as ‘pornography’. 😳

A lanyard!
Currently this one - https://www.letwomenspeak.org/suffragette-2-0-lanyard-x-2

Since I once left my car keys on the roof of my car (hands full of toddler & baby) and unsurprisingly it got stolen 😒

principalskinna · Yesterday 13:04

Yes ! @PatNoodle

just BUMP! Rude cow

Iheartmysmart · Yesterday 13:06

I have a Jellycats capybara one that DS bought me for Christmas last year. It’s probably a bit too big to use as a key ring but it makes me smile as it relates to a rhyme he made up when he was little.
