Do you have a keyring for your keys ? and if so, what is it ?

I've just brought a brand new car (first time for brand new, we've really pushed the boat out for this car) which comes with a posh fob (no key - just buttons on the fob). I would like a keyring of some sort attached to it, so I know it is my one (me & DH each have a fob) and am looking for suggestions. Would like something stylish .. would an airtag be suitable ? if lost, the key fob is a lot of money to replace.

Keen to hear whatever else has.

I have Lego Darth Vader. But the light sabre came out of his hand and is floating around in the depths of my handbag.

I have a metal 🙂 one from the key cutting shop and a poppy one sold for Remembrance Day .

If you wish to distinguish between your keys and your husband's, one of my friends has Brains on her keyring, and Brawn on his.

Personally, the trolley token holder works for me. And a small torch.

I’ve got a pink leather keyring with a doodle of a penis on it, and a mini screwdriver to fix my glasses.

I have more keyrings than keys on my car/house keys Grin

Same here!

I have a keyring that floats in case I drop it into water accidentally which I have done as this area is often flooded. Id put one of those on as well as whatever else you buy.

thanks all, lots of variety and some lovely stories behind your keychains.

I have removed the tatty tesco clubcard fob .. which was falling to bits and curling around the edges .. and all the keys I have no idea what they are for ! now I only have the posh car key fob, a house key and a trolley coin .. just need to decide on a keychain now ..

It's not really that taxing OP. You've already decided on what to put on it in your first post. It's posh and you worry about losing it.

Personally I keep my car fob separate from my house key. I drop the bugger that often trying to lock the door and key fobs don't like that.

A Christmas keyring?! That is one of the saddest things I have ever read.

I love SaraHoliday's Christmas keyring, and especially that she starts using it on a specific date, part of the fun and tradition of the season. I might get one myself, a small Christmas tree that lights up. Thanks Sara for the idea.

Her post isn't sad. Yours however......

@HappyAsASandboy me too!

My house kep, trolley token and one from a recent holiday with a bottle opener incorporated in it!!

My son gave me a David Attenborough key ring from Liberty. Whenever we look for my keys (usually when Dh has used them and not put them back where they belong) we ask ‘has anyone seen David?’. We are actually hilarious.

It's not sad to enjoy the festive season although I understand it's not for everyone, I certainly wouldn't comment like this

I also swap to Xmas bits during the season, keyrings, screen savers, ring tones etc

But back to OP's question - I have a loveheart which my girls bought me on my car key

ShiftySquirrel · Yesterday 15:21

I have the Lincoln Imp on my car key. And a carabiner on my house key so I can attach it to the work bag for whichever job I'm working that day.

Ideally I'd have them all together but DH says a big bunch will scratch the dash board. He's definitely right, but I wouldn't like to admit it after years of moaning how inconvenient it is!

I have a Lego Wonder Woman with no face or legs (she’s had a hard life), a woven thingy my niece made me and a replica light from the Titanic (DS1 was at Southampton uni).

All of my key rings are Caroline Gardner, they have a nice selection.

Large orange pom pom Indian made key ring. Large bright but light.

I have a brass colour horse's head and horse shoe on one chain attached to mine. One set of house keys has a photo of DH and I in a keyring on it.

Same! Mini stirrup, supermarket trolley token on a chain, plastic loop which often goes in my mouth for ease. Pets at Home mini card, some others that I really need to bin because they’re all in my Google pay wallet.

I have a Pantone one which is really good because you can loop it around your wrist if you're carrying lots of stuffhttps://amzn.eu/d/0fofFTRd

I like that. Simple and practical. Shame it's made in China.

Sadder than the "my mummy belongs to" suggestion?

AutumnMuse · Yesterday 16:26

I’ve got two keyrings- one from Bletchley Park and one from Blenheim Palace.
