Im sure they'll be lots of judgement on here as always but here we go

I really wish I hadn't married my 1st husband. He was a loser and still is.
I find 99% of kids so dull

Oh come on play fair. I’m trenchant in my views about water use and not using hosepipes, but in the spirit of the thread, it’s not fair to criticise or people won’t post.

But why is she exempt from the ban?! Genuine question?

I shouldn't have bitten really as that's what she wanted.

Bit unfair, it’s literally the thread for it.

A hosepipe ban isn’t the answer. The water companies need to be fixing their leaks, and not putting the onus on the public to reduce their water usage until they’ve done that.

Flowers provide pollen for bees, who are vital to the survival of the human race.

So you should probably reconsider who the dick is here. And I’ll give you a clue, it’s not the poster to whom you were replying.

Water companies should be fixing leaks, but it doesn’t change the fact that we have severe drought and water shortages in parts of the UK right now. We need it to rain!!

Ah come on! People literally spilling their hearts out, they hate their children, not doing any work etc and you decide the person who used a hosepipe deserves a telling off 🙄.
You know you can not be offended at every little thing? you can just read something and move on? You dont have to go around telling people off that your not happy with? I'm sure there are worse people out there!

When I ride my bicycle, I like to pretend I’m riding a horse. I have a whole cross country course on my commute to work with different speed bumps as jumps and sometimes I score myself for the approach. As I run through the Greenwich Foot Tunnel pushing the bicycle, I’m competing in the in-hand section of the gaited pony show.

It passes the time.

I do this in the car! And I also have a horse and occasionally, after a bad day with her, long for the drive home in my Jill's Gymkhana world!

I love buying stuff from Temu and SHEIN it’s the only way I can afford it.
I don’t like my father and I hope he doesn’t live for another ten years. ( he’s 79)
I wish my son would loose weight for his upcoming wedding, the weight he’s gained doesn’t suit him. (I love him dearly)

I am emotionally numb.

I watch films, reels, see photos etc where people are so obviously in love and I am 100% certain that I have never had that.

I am married, my husband and I genuinely get along wonderfully, he's my favourite person to be with, but am I passionately in love with him? No.

I love my DD but she isn't my entire world. She's lovely, funny, I love spending time with her, getting to do things together, but I don't miss her when she's not around

I find being around elderly people excruciating. After spending time with ILs or my elderly parent I feel so drained. I also dread seeing them, I have to build the energy up beforehand. I feel so guilty about it, I know one day that will be me etc etc.

I feel similarly. I have a very elderly friend- she was my mum’s friend. Lovely lady but is getting so old and it’s very hard to have a conversation with her as she’s so hard of hearing and cognition is getting worse. I always try to take DH or one of the DCs with me when I visit as it takes the intensity out of it.

This is a tread about things you wouldn't tell people, a time to tell people your cheeky little secrets but then there's you who choose to be offended by them and feel the need to try and make people feel bad.
That's very different from someone calling someone out for ruining what was a good thread, hopefully you can take 2 seconds to think why you need to do that? It's like having a little troll judging everyone's actions.
No ones perfect, you don't need to tell people off for using a hosepipe, maybe share something naughty you've done, come on I'm sure you're human!

I do that on the train sometimes, as we pass hedges I pretend I’m jumping them!

Me too! (The hedge-jumping on trains thing.)

If I knew my mother as an acquaintance I wouldn't like her at all.

Same.
I find kids quite dull too and I’m a teacher. I’m a good one though.
I’m also watering a tree in my garden so it doesn’t die.

I absolutely love this! I used to do that as a horse mad child, I would pretend my bike was a pony.

My job

Those annoying phone calls you get asking you to do surveys and opinion polls... That's me. I'm sorry. There's really no need to be so rude though, I'm just trying to do my shitty job so I can pay my bills.

And btw just tell me you're not interested and I won't phone back. If you hang up, I have to phone you again.

That I will never forgive my mother for the traumas she put me through by staying with her husband. Years later and she decided she’d had enough - after telling me to forgive and forget for years as she was happy. I will never get over her happiness and health prioritising mine

I really cannot stand staying overnight at other people’s homes. It gives me the ick

Totally agree with this. It’s no different to camping in my opinion. Thinking about it, I can’t remember the last time I had to do it.

I can understand that to some extent though - tall men do, all other things being equal, do better in life - they have more charisma and presence and are considered to be more attractive and effective. Heightism is the last acceptable prejudice.

No new reservoirs have been built in the UK since 1992, and the population has increased by something like 10 million in that time. It rained constantly the first few months of the year so we should have plenty of water. That we don’t should wake everyone up to the fact that governments are comprised of useless career politicians who have no idea of managing anything, don’t really work for us or a combination of both.
