Anyone feeling really depressed about the weather?

I know i can't change it so it's pointless, but I honestly feel really low 😕 Where the hell has summer gone? It has rained all day here and been cold and miserable. A heatwave was originally forecast for the weekend but now it's been downgraded to 20 at best, albeit hopefully sunny. I hope it's not going to be like this for the entire summer until we get more of the same in autumn. I have SAD and need warm sun on me. I honestly want to cry.

Nope! I'm happy as a sandboy that I can sleep properly, go out without sweatproof factor 50 on, and generally not feel like an earthworm on a plancha grill. My garden is lush and green rather than wilting and scraggy. Farmers around my locality are happy as well.

This is very early summer, we had a hot late spring heatwave. It was seriously odd and worrying to have 30C+ weather in May in the UK.

Exactly, it has been sun rain sun rain and a nice forecast ahead at more seasonally normal temperatures. Someone will always find something to moan about.

I've been on antidepressants since I was 18.

I'm 50. I'm mentally and physically disabled but I'm not moaning about a bit of fucking rain.

Twenty or twenty two, and dry, will do nicely. The rain was needed for crops and the garden is softer, but I'm glad it's going to improve on the last few days.

I’ve had this week as annual leave. Had plans for gardening, long catch up lunches with friends in the sunshine, a BBQ, but nope. It has rained every day and is actually windy and cold. So fed up.

I'm the same OP. I also struggle with SAD and am feeling very low again. The winter seemed very long this year, I felt a little optimistic as the days got lover, but all this rain is terrible. I'm genuinely scared about how I'll cope of the weather doesn't improve.

Sorry this is probably my fault, I can’t stand the heat. I much prefer any other month than summer. We even pick our summer holiday based on if it’s going to be too warm in that country.

Anyone who likes this weather can come and do my job.
We've had an entire week of wet break and lunchtimes in the primary school I work in... Hyped up, loud, under exercised children all week.

It's cold, windy, varies between drizzle, torrential rain and hail, with a little thunder and lightning. There's also hardly any sports day practice going on as PE has to be in the hall.

And still kids come in without coats!

Ok, these are your feelings. Others have a right to feel different. I and many others find it depressing. You are wrong to judge others as you have no idea what is going in their lives. Maybe that little a bit of sunshine is literally the only bright thing in their lives. Seasonal depression is a thing.

I don’t want 30+ degrees, just some consistent sunshine and blue skies.
20 ish would do, yesterday was 10 degrees, rain, and windy like an autumn day.

I just want to sit outside without a jumper on, and walk the dogs without rain.
