Yes but why - what is the strategy and goal?

Who is "they' in this scenario?

Oh God, I've just sought out the video.
There is nothing that excuses this. I don't care that lots of immigrants are excellent people or that some people are mentally ill.
People are right to be angry that this crime was committed and that it could have been prevented. I see TR, Rupert Lowe etc have already condemned it but as far as I can see, no one in government has said anything. Ordinary people are worried about people new to the country committing violent crimes. They are allowed to be worried about it. The lack of information feeds these worries. People suspect a cover up. Actually, if that terrible video didn't exist who would know anything about the attack?

I see TR, Rupert Lowe etc have already condemned it but as far as I can see, no one in government has said anything

From the BBC:

The Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer called the incident "sickening", adding that he will have "absolutely no tolerance for abhorrent scenes of violence like this on our streets".

"The horrific attack in Belfast last night is sickening," the prime minister said.

"My thoughts are first and foremost with the victim, and I thank the first responders, including members of the public who intervened."

People of all ethnicities who commit crimes should face trial and if found guilty be punished.

Justice needs to take its course. Mob violence helps nothing.
This crime is being investigated by the police . Nothing is being covered up.

It it though? No, it’s actually two tier standards. Effectively, we don’t care about brutality (overwhelmingly committed by white men) until it’s another person of another ethnicity who has committed the crime.

Two tier standards. Two tier ethics. Two tier morals… Do you know what we could also call it?

Time to open YOUR eyes. You do the bidding of people who are laughing at you while raking in the profits. Ask WHY they want you so distracted and working to discredit our media and justice system.

Edited

It’s not two tier standards, it’s the basic standards that most countries hold. You can’t just rock up wherever you want unchecked in other countries so why should we be made to feel bad for wanting the same here?

Utter horseshit. When barbaric acts are committed by white men, we demand that those men are brought to justice. In the cases of Ian Huntley and Ian Watkins, the nation celebrates when they're murdered in prison.

We can't deport British men. We can deport foreign criminals, better yet we can prevent them from coming into the country in the first place.

Several woman have been killed by white men in NI over the last few years and I don’t recall one protest

I think it’s you who should look into how many billionaires are making a profit from unchecked and vast immigration. It’s ’eye opening’ as you say.

You’re lacking common sense. If you already have dangerous people in your country you don’t say “oh well, may as well open it up to more dangerous people”.

I find it weird how some women will be openly talking about how bad white men are but then openly welcome men who see women as subhuman in their own cultures and excuse any crime being committed because of skin colour. The mental gymnastics and the obvious racism are astounding.

What's your plan for stopping "these things" from happening?

@MrsKateColumbo is probably limited to sharing her opinions online or attending a march, KS is the PM, and might be expected to do something more effective, perhaps influenced by many thousands or millions of KateColumbos

Oh and the other thing.

Who is causing the division here exactly?

Man murders person with knife on religious grounds. People get upset and protest because no ones listening.

Oh, it’s the second lot causing the division!

You couldn’t make this bullshit up.

👏 Exactly.

How about asking what is behind Elon Musk’s curtain and why him and others want to cause civil unrest.

Farage privately sips on glasses of expensive red wine (never pints) while laughing at you and the rest of us.

We dont need Elon, Starmer and his merry band seem to be doing a good enough job of pissing people off so much that civil unrest WILL happen. Then they can jail everyone who doesnt agree with their batshit ideology

Thank you for posting this. It is very important people understand how the ultra rich are trying to control the media to they can spin a narrative that advances their interests.

An attempted beheading and gouging is enough to cause a reaction. It’s not a stabbing.

A few predictable words and don’t discuss it from politicians won’t wash.

Ik there’s a strong need to cover this up but similar atrocities happen around the world and the state will always censor it.

Why do those who film them not give them to the police, instead putting them on social media - for clicks?

The poor family and victim, having this online shared repeatedly, been seen by too many. It would break my heart if it was my family.

Probably because in the most recent case in Southampton, it has now come to light that police TRIED to cover up the story. (I.e. make the victim the issue)

the video also showed bystanders beating the attacker off prior to police arrival. It is helpful that this is filmed, because there is no dispute on what happened later down the line.

Because they don't trust the police any more. That's why.

Once it's on the internet it's far more difficult to deny and /or minimise what happened by calling it a 'stabbling'.

And personally if it was my family, I'd want as many people to see it as possible to have some hope of real justice.

The Brighton rape incident.

One of the men was an Egyptian murderer who was allowed to roam without correct identity checks who went onto brutally rape a woman.

They are unchecked men who can be extremely dangerous. So yes, they should be detained and checked before being released on the public.

As a woman, we have enough dangerous males without the govt unleashing more on us in case it’s seen as a bit mean to do the right checks.

So checks are done after asylum claim - and detention is pre hotel - we have been a bit hampered by losing access to EU intel after Brexit, though this is being worked on.

Admin does need tightening up but otherwise those allowed out of detention are allowed to move around freely - you are blaming the wrong people.

Yes we have more than enough of our own problems. Why import more?????????????

More lockdowns so they can fuck people up once again.

Mass control for a one world centralised banking system, digital ID, less rights to your own life.

Clause Schwab former head of World Health Organisation said, you will have nothing and be happy.
Only they're doing it under the guise of global warming and carbon emissions.

Nothings ever good, have you noticed that?
Most news is shit and depressing.
Thats because we are made up of energy/vibrations and there are different hz for different energies and media try and keep us at levels of depression, sadness, anger etc which is why its so important that each of us makes sure we ri6se our vibrations to that of love and abundance and good health

I have noticed the enshittification of everything.
It is caused by late-stage capitalism (massive massive wealth inequality), and above all peak oil.
You are on the right lines to think about energy, but you need to think in literal, physical terms, not spiritual ones, for the source of the problems.

An Egyptian murderer should be deported, not allowed to roam.

To excuse this kind of foreign criminal being allowed to roam in the community is crazy. I don’t give a crap about his human rights.

Only after the poor woman was brutally gang raped did this information come out. So authorities either knew of the man’s criminal record and didn’t care or only did checks after. Either way, detain until full checks are done.

I don’t know if it was this thread, or another, but I said film can be manipulated, or miss stuff, deliberately or not. Plus everyone watching one single incident will have a different description even conflicting details before even interpreting it - this is a known fact. Having a piece of film is not the slam dunk you think it is.

This is absolute rubbish. I try always to be polite and respectful in debate, but some things need to be called out. Nobody excuses violent crimes because of skin colour. The crime this thread highlighted is being investigated by the police. It is not being excused or covered up. Y
