With this description are you keen to enable their arrival here?

Yep, finally we have admissions from the Lefties of Mumsnet that mass immigration makes our country less safe and endangers us and our children. They'll continue to advocate for it anyway but the gaslighting can stop now.

They’re probably more upset it’s happened at all.

Look at the Nottingham press conference, there’s so much pressure to underplay failings that the parents and families have to speak out bluntly.

Still people override it.

Right now, yes. But in future they will know people are sharing and viewing this for entertainment, for politics, for radicalisation and recruitment to whatever cause. It’s well documented that people viewing a loved one in this way causes further pain to families. The Nottingham families said the same only recently.

Surely anyone shouting religious words while committing abhorrent violence is a nutter? No God in that is there.

Are you aware this happens more regularly in other countries, and if so it sounds like an argument to not allow arrival from places where it does happen.

Northernladdette · 09/06/2026 12:53

Tbf, there was barely anything earlier in the day.

It might depend on your settings, I saw it on there late last night.

Sunglade · 09/06/2026 13:05

Don't know why the councils in Ireland are accepting migrants, it's not going to be possible to settle them there as the locals just won't have this nonsense like they do in the rest of the UK.

Lentilcakes · 09/06/2026 13:06

I’m not a bbc fan but I can see that they don’t want to whip up hysteria about this and are being vague as to she nature of the attack.
They've asked for the video not to be shared.

Thedevilhasfinallycaughtupwithhim · 09/06/2026 13:03

You stated

“Do you realise it's hard to radicalise someone with a sound mind?”

We countered.

You avoided further discussion by pretending not to understand the conversation.

If you really are struggling to understand simple disagreements with your arguments, then you’re right in thinking Mumsnet might not be a good fit for you.

I’d also hasten to add, is it radicalisation if it’s part and parcel of a specific culture or religion? If that behaviour is normality in certain places? Like witchcraft still being prevalent in certain countries.

Im tired of seeing radicalisation and mental health being used to downplay truly demonic behaviour.

I think we've had enough of immigration, let's face it.

Edited

You mean like British people going to live in Spain or Dubai, yeah?

Do you have any evidence for which countries this more regularly happens in? I’m not familiar with where but I’m sure we’d all like to avoid going there.

That’s called emigration not immigration

MLMsuperfan · 09/06/2026 13:08

Maggispice · 09/06/2026 12:51

There're no jobs. We don't need more immigration. I immigrated here legally from Africa over 20yrs ago. We must speak truthfully without bias. It needs to stop now.

Pull up that ladder 🪜

Thedevilhasfinallycaughtupwithhim · 09/06/2026 13:08

If British men were arriving on African shores in their tens of thousands, committing rapes and murders, I would be equally appalled. I would be just as vocal in my outrage and my view that the people who live there shouldn’t have to put up with them.

This isn’t a race issue. It’s a male violence issue. And it is a male violence issue that is heightened by the fact so many of these men have been indoctrinated to believe they are above people of other cultures, to the extent that they can rape and murder them with impunity.

Bringyourfoldingchair · 09/06/2026 13:09

I haven’t seen the video thankfully but this happened beside my DS school. The school has emailed to say many of the young people will have seen the video and they are offering support to the pupils. Absolutely horrific and so worrying. I have seen the calls for protests this evening and just hope it doesn’t escalate into riots.

Spain and the UAE are similarly entitled to decide that they've had enough of immigration.

Never under estimate the need for someone so entrenched in this ideology to pretend not to understand any basic argument.

If there are any arguments that get through against multiculturalism then it starts to dismantle their entire worldview and they can’t stand it. There can’t be moderation, just absolute faith and belief in the doctrine. Anyone against it, even moderately are the enemy.

Listen people, when they come over they could be doctors or engineers which are so, so needed. Or he could be a lovely carer to wipe your mum's backside which again, so, so needed. Unfortunately this one was a knife wielding decapitator and now you are going to have to pay for him for life - unless he gets the same judge and jury as the Manchester airport violent attackers.

A dear friend’s elderly wife needed a home carer twice-daily for a while after Covid left her seriously ill. They were not told the carer was a young Somalian man. Not surprisingly, she was incredibly distressed. Husband at work, a woman should not expect that and I’m damned if I’d have any man undressing and washing me in my home. Migrant men wanting work as home carers is abhorrent.

Yes you probably would like to avoid going there. But since you’ve claimed this is a ‘one off religious nutter’ how are you going to check other men arriving haven’t been influenced in the same way?

Especially since the pp said the societies were unstable and not healthy and those outcomes were more likely.

What checks will you have?

I’d absolutely support Spain and Dubai in changing their immigration process if they deemed it necessary.
It’s their country and if it isn’t benefiting them, why should they have to put up with it?

MLMsuperfan · 09/06/2026 13:11

Maggispice · 09/06/2026 13:03

Absolutely! I agree! I'm an immigrant. I migrated LEGALLY over 20yrs ago. There're no jobs in the UK. The NHS, renting, house prices etc all negatively affected by huge demand and lack of supply. Govt needs to face the citizens first.

Where do you think the NHS would be without immigration?

Imaginary86 · 09/06/2026 13:13

The news said he’s actually Sundanese not Somalian

Sunglade · 09/06/2026 13:13

MLMsuperfan · 09/06/2026 13:11

Probably about the same, but with slightly higher pay for staff (since their pay is undermined by foreign workers who don't expect as much renumeration).

Glad to hear you’re equally horrified at the actions of colonisers hundreds of years ago.

I think this is an understandable attitude, although I don’t share it. It wasn’t that long ago that the British interned (and beat up, falsely convicted etc) the Irish for the actions of their fellows. Maybe some would like to see a return to that collective punishment.

PurpleLovecats · 09/06/2026 13:14

Northern Ireland of course being famous for a lack of serious violence prior to ‘mass immigration’.
