What I find interesting is how many make out that MJ was a saint yet blame the parents for terrible parenting by letting them stay there.

I think it's terrible parenting also, but if you believe MJ was a saint when you never even knew him and defend him this passionately despite all of the accusations and evidence then surely you'd be the type who would have definitely let your kids sleep with him if you got to be around this sweet angel man child and he was love bombing your family?

I used to feel that way about the parents, but now I feel more empathy, they really were gaslit and abused themselves. He targeted certain families, he knew what he was doing as many abusers do.

I understand your point of view also, but it's those who think that he is completely innocent who would defend him to the death and treat him like the most sweetest ethereal being but who then have an issue with the parents that bother me!

You forgot to include one important fact here, which seems to be a common re occurrence on here. Michael said "if you loved me,you'd sleep on the bed and I'll sleep on the floor". According to various sources he preferred to sleep on the floor. But I guess you believe sources like Netflix 🙄🤷‍♂️

Come on now. You’re making things up and grasping at straws. Many of the boys were coached to say ‘I sleep on this side of the bed and he sleeps on that side of the bed’.

MyTrivia · 06/06/2026 21:50

Mum2boys01 · 06/06/2026 20:01

No, you seem to have not read all the information or listened to the testimonials. He talks himself about sharing a bed. And ok let's take the bed out of it. Its still not ok for a grown man to sleep in the same room as a child. Why does he need to do that. Why on earth are we not believing the victims. I have been certain he has been guilty since allegation number 1. I havent even watched the Netflix documentary

Yes and he locked the doors…

Missohnoyoubetterdont · 06/06/2026 21:54

This is madness, what does a victim have to do to be believed. Coached!!! That is madness. If he were innocent why was in a room alone with a child in the first place. Lets start with just that. There are two people in that room and one is an adult who knows what they are doing. The other is a child. Why was he ever alone with a child. I will point out again how similar this is to Jimmy Saville, he spent all his time round kids pretending to help and raise money and in hospitals......do you believe he was innocent?⁰ Do not confuse talent with innocence. Just because he was an amazing musician and by all accounts a charming man does not mean this isnt true. Paedophiles groom people through manipulation. You cannot tell me when he spent the night alone in a room with a 12 year old boy that he didnt know it was wrong on every single level. For years people have looked the other way because they dont want it to be true. Doesnt make it any less true. How many people have to come forward before it is believed? I just cannot believe we are victims shaming kids. They were kids!!!!

Sorry I wasn’t clear - I meant that Michael Jackson himself coached the boys to say that they slept on one side of the bed. He also made them get dressed to a timer in case they should be disturbed and told them they’d all go to prison if found out (including the boys).

I believe the victims 100%. What I find strange is the people on this thread trying to argue that MJ slept on the floor. And also acting like it’s normal for any adult to say to any child ‘if you love me, you’ll ’ - classic manipulation. Why can’t people see it?

Oh I see, thanks for clarifying. I'm sure all of us watch a lot of true crime and how many have abusers telling people they will get in trouble too. I think also what people are forgetting is how much these kids will want this not to be true. I just wish we would stop playing his music anywhere. I hope that after some of the trials going on now that eventually there is justice.

Missohnoyoubetterdont · 07/06/2026 09:02

I would love his music to be removed from airways. I always turn it off when I hear it. Hopefully one day.

fundamentallyauthentic · 07/06/2026 09:07

I can’t see anything happening that will ensure that Jackson’s music will be banned. The film is a huge success, he’s still very popular. No surprise really when his music is so good.

I never play his music any more. I cannot get past the horrifying realisation that children may have been a muse for many of his songs such as ‘The way you make me feel’ 🤮

I can’t imagine what those poor children went through. The stress and confusion, the shame. And the anguish of being replaced when they got too old.

Mum2boys01 · 07/06/2026 10:37

The trial in November may change that. It was significant that it was allowed and should change the rules for all kids not just the ones he hurt. In essence setting MJ up as a business has meant originally they said the company cannot be liable. But since the abused kids were paid employees of that company then that company is liable for the harm that came to them. For example why was it not a rule that kids were chaperoned. The 'company' needs to answer to that. I have hopes for November.

It'll be thrown out again for the 3rd time. Shouldn't be allowed when they aren't here to defend themselves 🤬

According to @kkloo Safechuck and Robson have compelling new evidence to present. So the case may not be thrown out.

Could not disagree more. His company which is going strong is very much here and able to put up a defense. Justice is needed regardless of whether he is now dead (for which I am grateful) it has not got thrown out again, you did not watch the appeal where the judges over turned the fact it could not be tried and a trial will now be held.

The case isn't against MJ. It's against the corporations for allowing it to happen.

So are you ever going to answer about whether you're trying to claim that MJ never slept in bed with kids?

Missohnoyoubetterdont · 07/06/2026 19:09

Of course they are not! Don’t waste your time. Predictably stone-walling the important questions. 🙄

The theme of the thread 😅
Of course the supporters don't believe the allegations when they deliberately choose to ignore every single uncomfortable truth even when it's presented in front of them multiple times.

I think the lawsuit is now delayed until 2028

And why delay a law suit unless you have something to hide. Horrible they deserve their chance to be heard.

fundamentallyauthentic · 09/06/2026 06:52

Nothing official out there about the trial delay.

Agree

The absolute wriggling and raggling on this thread is astounding

No one doubts Epstein was a monster who targeted poor families giving opportunities to young girls in lieu of sexual abuse

No one doubts Saville targeted star struck kids and abused them .

But tie themselves in knots to defend a pedophile pop prince because it negates their love and adoration of hin over the years so its deflection about art books and sleeping on the floor.

I engaged heavily with the first thread to the extent it made me emotional seeing posters posting vonit emojis about child victims and twisting themselves in knots to defend the indefensible.

I mean what the fuck about marks not matching, the fact a child said there were marks should be enough surely, the fact it wasnt a fucking triangle to the left or a square to the right of his erect penis is neither here nor there really.

Anyhoo ive read right though this today and chuckling at folk who really dont care much but spend hours defending him.

OJ was found not guilty but was a murdering scumbag, Michael didnt murder, but he was a very talented scumbag

Hubhubba26 · 09/06/2026 12:06

Believing in his innocence, especially given how complex, public, and polarizing his life was, is a position shared by a lot of people. Because his life was so scrutinized and his personality was undeniably eccentric, people often come to very different conclusions about who he really was behind the media spectacle.

If people such as @AutumnLover1990 believe he's innocent then let them. It really doesn't make any difference in the end.

But how can you come to the conclusion that one man in the whole history of the world has uniquely special rules that apply to him because he had an abusive background?

His abusive background combined with his unusually spectacular talent are a common recipe for a narcissist in most other situations.

The reason it matter's in the end is because the notion of protecting and covering up for a child abuser is sick.
