Iran Football Federation says World Cup ticket allocation withdrawn

I saw that the team itself will only be allowed into the US the day before games. Then it's straight out back to Mexico.

And many of the team assistants were blocked too.

Ohh, and I think it rather shocking that FIFA have washed their hands re the Somalian ref. It is FIFA who award the event to nations after all. And the ref is a FIFA employee.

The article was the first time I had even heard about the pilots. No news whether it was because of mechanical failure or enemy fire.

Yup. I was thinking that. But I went with the gold panning.

Probably because DD and her cousin went through an archeology toy thing. Where things are stuck inside a plaster block and they need to dig them out. I remember looking at the time at gold panning and "pay dirt" as an alternative. But the reviews for the bags of pay dirt were terrible.
