The veins on the back of the hand are the easiest to access but cannulae sited there can be easily knocked and it makes using the hand difficult whilst it in on place. Forearm veins are deeper and harder to access (especially if client is overweight.) they are easier to stabilise o

This is just a snippet from an article on Apple News. His wording amused me.

“I am mandatorily requesting that all Countries immediately sign the Abraham Accords, and that, if Iran signs its Agreement with me, as President of the United States of America, it would be an Honor to have them also be part of this unparalleled World Coalition,” Trump posted.”

How do you ‘mandatorily request’ something? A thing is either mandated or it is requested. He is such an egotistical ignorant fool. It’s like he can’t simply request something, his ego requires that there’s a command in there somewhere.

I've no idea what could cause the bruising on his hand, but I do recall seeing photos of the late Queen with similar markings on her hands shortly before her death, which gave rise to much consternation in the popular press. Reportedly, she was suffering from cancer (in addition to old age).

My mum had a lot of unexplained bruising starting in her 80s. It was just that her skin was so thin and no subcutaneous fat that she bruised very easily at the smallest bump or knock and the bruises were really noticeable.

So there might be a reason for it or it might just be that he’s old.

Asking for a friend.
Why is it any actual business of the US, how countries in the ME choose to interact with Israel?

Iran is supposedly linking Lebanon into their peace deal, so how would signing the AA stop Israel bombing the shit out of South Lebanon when a supposed ceasefire didn't?

logicisall · 26/05/2026 07:05

Ha!
Pakistan’s defence minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said Pakistan would not join the Abraham Accords, arguing they conflicted with Islamabad's "fundamental ideologies," after what Samaa TV described as continued pressure from United States President Donald Trump to back a peace deal framework linked to Iran and recognise Israel.

the queen on THAT photo had the 'black hands of death', i.e. circulation failure which is one sign of actively dying.

My mum also had bruising - age plus blood thinners for heart failure - which I think has been mooted as one of Trump’s issues - I guess I can’t be sorry it’s not as instantly fatal as it sounds, cos mother, but definitely disappointing it doesn’t stop Trump being POTUS!

However, my mum’s bruising was pretty constant and I think the orange guy’s is more intermittent though regular - like a cannula for a drip each month - he’s probably doing those pizza express child sacrifices himself for the blood of youth though.

Iran’s foreign ministry says US broke ceasefire with overnight strikes
Iran’s foreign ministry has said the US broke the ceasefire in the Hormozganregion close to the strait of Hormuz, Reuters reports.
The ministry said Iran will respond and will not hesitate in defending itself.
The US military carried out strikes on Monday in southern Iran against targets including boats attempting to lay mines and missile launch sites, in what it described as defensive actions.
“The United States committed a gross violation of the ceasefire in the Hormozgan region in the past 48 hours ... Iran holds the US regime responsible for all the consequences resulting from these aggressive and unjustified actions,” the Iran foreign ministry statement said.

Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps said on Tuesday it reserved the "legitimate and definite" right to retaliate against any ceasefire violations by the U.S., adding that its air defence units had shot down a U.S. MQ-9 drone and fired at a F-35 fighter jet that had entered Iranian airspace, state media reported.

It claims the F-35, the worlds most advanced and lethal fighter jet, was forced to leave its airspace. The IRGC added that it also fired at an RQ4 intelligence collection drone. This comes after the US carried out what it called "self-defence" strikes in southern Iran overnight, threatening a fragile ceasefire between Washington and Tehran.

No - it’s ‘good’ (loose usage there) to know.

I just can’t keep track of all this shite - full scale invasion - deal ready - trump home for weekend - ceasefire broken - just this last week and I’m sure I’ve missed some 🙈

logicisall · 26/05/2026 14:26

It's one for the Trump dictionary - 'self-defense strike'.
Even an inadequate lawyer could then defend Iran's laying of mines as a 'self-defence' act, given the US definition and Trump's statement that he would obliterate Iran. Within context, I would even argue that Iran has the stronger case, but I'm no lawyer.

This imminent peace deal is going well. 🙄

Sigh. So here we go again. I'm wondering what it is that Scrotus is trying to "Look a fish!!" us with to avoid us looking 'elsewhere'. The Jan 6 sludge fund? His upcoming physical? Today's TX primary? Or was it just that Kegsbreath needed to boost his mental testosterone?

Because whatever it was, it wasn't a 'self defence' necessity.

Spandauer · 26/05/2026 15:16

So now we have Schrödinger's ceasefire?

Or just taking a page from Netanyahu's dictionary of ceasefire terms?

Hope whatever is happening to 🍊💩 at Walter Reed Hospital today is bigly uncomfortable and/or painful.

Are the Epstein files not still in play, do you think? Or has he conveniently forgotten about them and thinks because he’s said it enough times, everyone else has forgotten about them, too? Much like he’s bored with the Iran thing now, and wants it over with as quickly as possible, being dealt with by someone other than him. Is someone whispering in his ear: “No, look, you’ve got to PRETEND it’s important to you, otherwise people will still keep mentioning it even whilst you’re playing golf working on other important matters.”?

DancingFerret · 26/05/2026 16:05

It's being reported Iran's price to re-open the SoH is repayment of $24 billion in frozen funds (no, I don't know either) from the US, with half payable immediately on signing the memorandum of understanding and the remainder within two months thereafter.

They have to be playing the markets.

Stories get driven about how he and BiBi are on the outs, peace treaty around the corner, he is dumb etc.

But then, he insists that the Gulf States join the Abraham Accords, announces peace and watches the price of oil drop, bombs and it shoots up again.

We really need to stop believing what Trump wants us to believe. It suits him that we think he is dumb.

He is not. He has no shame, which is different.

Always with him, it is about money. Always.

Spandauer · 26/05/2026 17:25

With the all the dignity, pomp and circumstance we've come to expect from Donald, the USA will celebrate its 250th year with a tacky 'circus' arena on the WH lawn, an ugly cavernous building site next door and a reflecting pool that looks like a neglected empty padding pool in a small town municipal park in the UK.
The photos are going to be just ace

The centerpiece of a makeshift Ultimate Fighting Championship arena on the South Lawn of the White House is taking form as construction crews install a soaring 90-foot tall, open-air structure that stands out dramatically from most views of the building.
