Always with him, it is about money. Always

Don't forget the vainglory - almost as important.

OP posts:

Why does Donald like watching near-naked sweaty men cavorting and writhing with each other so much? If that's what he's into these days it might show a whole new angle on those odd bruises. Is he planning to don (!) the lycra and enter the arena himself...?!

Another invoice to prep for the brain bleach I now require 🙈🤣

L1ttledrummergirl · 26/05/2026 18:05

Didn't Trump turn the rose garden into a concrete jungle? Why is he wrecking the lawn instead of using his other monstrosity? Is he trying to see how much damage he can physically do to the White House gor a bet?

We already know he's trashed the reputation of the White House.

Careful now. Brain bleach territory :-)

But I do reckon he would prefer women's mud wrestling on the WH lawn. But Melania likely said no. She wants to see men fight. And if she is wearing google specs, then I think we know whose face is being AI added.

So Camp David. Was there not another POTUS who got a major deal done there re Israel in the past ? Maybe he is hoping for a rub off ?

There will be enough gold leaf on that plot of land for the South African refuges to sink a gold mine.

Getting my coat :-)

I can't help visualising how the lycra-covered presidential diaper would look; not pretty.

I apologise sincerely and unreservedly. It's a grim image. Last turkey in Sainsbury's on Christmas eve... 😫

Uninvited guests could pose a problem when UFC holds its event at the White House set for June 14.

They’re likely to swarm without regard to the fighters at UFC Freedom 250.

Are the Epstein files not still in play, do you think? Or has he conveniently forgotten about them and thinks because he’s said it enough times, everyone else has forgotten about them, too? Much like he’s bored with the Iran thing now, and wants it over with as quickly as possible, being dealt with by someone other than him. Is someone whispering in his ear: “No, look, you’ve got to PRETEND it’s important to you, otherwise people will still keep mentioning it even whilst you’re playing golf working on other important matters.”?

I vote 'all of the above'.

Iran has certainly taken the 'main eye' off Epstein. And now it's been brought front and center with 'talks' and the 'self defense attack' to bury the news on the sludge fund. And I definitely think he's bored with Iran, but unlike his failed businesses Iran simply won't go away.

The problem is that whilst he could deflect from a business failure by loudly touting a new and better 'venture', the only way he seems to know to deflect from a policy fuck up is by creating another, usually worse, policy fuck up.

AcrossthePond55 · 26/05/2026 20:51

DancingFerret · 26/05/2026 16:05

It's being reported Iran's price to re-open the SoH is repayment of $24 billion in frozen funds (no, I don't know either) from the US, with half payable immediately on signing the memorandum of understanding and the remainder within two months thereafter.

Do they not know that he never pays his bills?

They need to get that money up front or the deal's off.

The Camp David Accords of 1978. 'Brokered' by Jimmy Carter for a peace agreement between Egypt (Sadat) and Israel (Begin).

Sadat and Begin shared the 1978 Nobel Peace Prize. (Pssst...don't tell Scrotus).

Camp David meeting is cancelled due to 'possible bad weather', it's in the WH now

Anything to do with the medical appointment 🤔

In clarifying on his statement that the SoH will open one way or the other.

What’s happening there is unlawful, it’s illegal, it’s unsustainable for the world, it’s unacceptable,” Rubio said, describing Iranian control over shipping through the waterway since the launch of hostilities by the US and Israel on February 28

One could almost think that Little Marco was referring to US actions instead.

In other news, the aircraft carrier Nimitz is still hanging around South America. Currently off the coast of Brazil.

Former US National Security Adviser John Bolton to Copenhagen Democracy Summit: “Trump sees international relations as embodied in the relations of heads of state.

“So if he's friends with Xi Jinping, he thinks the US-China state-to-state relations are in great shape. He calls Xi 'King.'

“He thinks he's friends with Xi Jinping and with Vladimir Putin.

“And I will guarantee you that's not how they see Trump. I think they both see him as an easy mark.”

Bolton: “Decision-making now consists of Trump sitting behind his Resolute Desk in the Oval Office, five or six people in a semicircle in front of him, and he says, 'I think we'd like to do X.'

“That's when Pete Hegseth says, 'Yes, sir, we'll do that.'

“That's decision-making.”

Talking of the Resolute Desk, I have never seen a photo of a POTUS with a laptop on it. I don't think I have ever seen a photo of Trump at a PC at all.

I wonder how he does his email, reviews reports, does spreadsheet data crunching etc. Or how he even checks up on his favourite conspiracy theories.

I wonder if it is connected to something I notice anecdotally on forums in general, that far right posters tend not to share links that support claims made. "Normal" people do often do a quick check on the web to self fact check. Is Trump doing all this on his phone ?

EG, when typing the above, I remembered this. And it takes seconds to find.

Trump Boasts That His Son Barron Can Turn on a Laptop Even When It Is Completely Turned Off (futurism.com)

I suspect he is PC illiterate.

Nobody would ever accuse Donald Trump of being a good parent, but for Barron, he's seemingly got a lot of accolades.

Wrong number of stripes on the flag. Photo att.

This is of note:

"Nowhere on the phone, box, manual or packaging does it say where the phone was made. The box simply says, "Proudly assembled in the USA.""

No conclusion on that site yet.

I did see that, but to be honest I thought it was just normal now. Trump's new world order.

Similar to when I looked at GB news earlier. I looked at the comments on the "hottest day iin May n UK" story. And the general consensus there was that the UK met office fake the data. Install thermometers on airport runways to get hot from the jet wash. Use faulty equipment.... etc.

I am sure just a few years back that a single poster saying that would get a WTF reaction, but now with Trumpism it is just standard it seems.
