For me it’s undeniable and the evidence is overwhelming, but I’m shocked by the amount of people who don’t.

Yes I do, he was clearly a very disturbed individual who had lost touch with reality. It’s similar to the Jimmy Saville case where fame gave him access to children and he carried out horrific abuse in plain sight

He admitted to sleeping with young boys, many of them. He didn't have any lasting relationships with adults. I am not sure what more is needed in terms of evidence.

He was a fantastic entertainer.

Those two statements of fact can be true at the same time.

On the subject of Lisa Marie, he married her quite soon after the Jordan Chandler pay-off.

Lisa-Marie tried to have a chat with him when he suddenly took up with a new 10 year old ‘special friend’ who he again, was having for sleepovers. She basically said don’t you think it would be a good idea to stop inviting children to sleep in your bed after what happened last time? To which he basically replied ‘STFU you don’t tell me what to do’.

She said that they did consummate the marriage and he was sort of normal. But for me, that just adds more weight to the argument that he was a pedophile because what was he doing with his sex drive outside of the 2 years he was with her? He could reasonably have had almost any woman if he really was into women.

I honestly believe he was assexual. LMP said he was still a virgin at 35 when they married. Didn't say,as far as I'm aware,that she took his virginity. He had women throwing themselves at him and yet nothing? I truly believe he was also on the spectrum. It makes sense.

I felt LMO was trying to save face saying they had a sex life. After all,it would be a bit embarrassing being married to the most famous man on earth and he won't sleep with you. Not something she's going to brag about,is it! 😞

Yes I agree, all of this is true, I said on other threads, or this one not sure, he likely had personality disorders, attachment disorders, possibly ND, but he is still an abuser. Those things dont change that he abused children.

Have you read her memoir? She hints they had a physical relationship, also said their relationship was when she was happiest. She also wanted to save him, and she did the interview with him and Diane Sawyer to protect him. She also said she loved being a mother, so perhaps there was a maternal thing going on.

Yeah well her mother had the measure of him. LMP was extremely vulnerable as a person, her upbringing was far from normal and she lost her dad young. She is not a healthy measure of what a good husband for her would have been

He was very likely ND, along with lots of other possible disorders and conditions, its right there on the surface with him. You might as well say that you wish people wouldnt conflate behaviours like his with attachment disorder, eating disorders, trauma and abuse experiences, personality disorders, drug misuse.

Why only that condition?

The reality is, he very likely had a huge comorbidity of a lot of issues going on. The money and power and fame made the traits of all of it hugely magnified.

Because nothing about him suggested autism. The abuse is what made him what he was. I think he had NPD personally.

Look at him as a child. He was very confident, sure of himself and articulate. He was actually very mature for his age and had a very astute perception of things. He himself said that people saw him as a 40 year old child.

He had a lot of traits that possibly make him ND. The movie touches on a couple of points.

Yes. I don't believe he was ND but I do believe he was abused and an abuser.

His daughter has said that the movie is just a story and is factually inaccurate.

Yea Priscilla also did this with Elvis, in her book she said that he wouldn't touch her after she had Lisa Marie and he had also had never been able to sleep with a woman who had had a baby, but I remember seeing her on loose women and they were discussing the divorce and one of the presenters said something casually and matter of fact about how Elvis wouldn't touch her and she said something like 'oh no we did have sex...in our own way, i know what you're talking about but I'm not going to get into that now'

I did hear about how Elvis didn't go near her once she had Lisa but I didn't know about the rest.

Trauma can mimic Autism.
It can be hard for even professionals to tell the difference, but he did not seem ND as a child so if he has symptoms of Autism then most likely it's due to trauma instead.

But like you, I also think he had NPD, he comes across as incredibly narcissistic.

Yea she did backtrack on a few things from that first book, there was a scene in the book which sounded quite 'rapey' but later on she said that was completely exaggerated.

I believe Elvis was very weird about sex in general, preferring dry humping to sex, and obsessed with purity and terrified of STD's.

Exactly. The way he talked about his children saying that Debbie Rowe (another narc imo) ‘gifted’ them to him. Children are not gifts to be bought and sold and they deserve to have a chance to have relationships with both their parents.

Then there’s the way he isolated them, made them wear masks and covered the baby’s face when he was trying to feed him. He loved children so much but never thought to invite children over for his kids to socialise with - the kids were only for him. Utterly, utterly messed up.
