Do you believe the Michael Jackson allegations?

For me it’s undeniable and the evidence is overwhelming, but I’m shocked by the amount of people who don’t.

Exactly. The way he talked about his children saying that Debbie Rowe (another narc imo) ‘gifted’ them to him. Children are not gifts to be bought and sold and they deserve to have a chance to have relationships with both their parents.

Then there’s the way he isolated them, made them wear masks and covered the baby’s face when he was trying to feed him. He loved children so much but never thought to invite children over for his kids to socialise with - the kids were only for him. Utterly, utterly messed up.

See this is another reason why I don't buy the 'give them a childhood he never had' narrative. He was taking the kids away from their parents and he said the fathers would often be jealous and that it rubs them in a strange way.....and that he would tell the fathers he wasn't trying to take their place, but that he let the boys call him Dad if they wanted. Yet he had his own children and obviously would not have liked that if he felt someone was taking his place with his children, or think that that was in their best interests either or giving them a great childhood.

The mask thing doesn't bother me and I can understand the rationale there, but I do remember the video of him feeding the baby with the veil over his face, he seemed so agitated by a little cry.

One thing we can say is that this is an interesting case to look at.

I was looking at a video about the Cascio family allegations. They don't seem to ring true to me

They definitely don't. The OTT fake crying with no tears from one of them. It was ridiculous. They also faked some alleged recordings and sold them to Sony. Auctioned off some of Michael's underwear and wrote a book saying how great and amazing he was. Now the reason they are going back on all this is a supposed delayed reaction and realisation of alleged abuse. I honestly think, going by comments all over social media etc,is that people really are not buying their stories. I think they've finally shot themselves in the foot now with this 60 minutes shambles.

The question is - why are they lying though. They are not likely to get any money. Wade and james put in claims for money ages ago and still have received nothing

They’ve probably spent the millions they had from the estate back in 2020.

Yep, the estate settled six years ago, now they’re back for more.

They would have been paid for the 60 minutes interview for a start.

Yes! OMG what the hell was that? That poor baby. Classic example of a narcissist who views his child as a belonging.

Yes, he was acting like a baby doing a little cry was the most horrific thing ever when it’s just normal baby communication.

They apparently were approached by someone who runs the estate and who got them to sign a NDA about what happened between them. Part of that agreement was that they’d be paid (I think) $600,000 per year, each. But they’re now saying they were pressured to sign paperwork that wasn’t properly explained to them.

Why aren’t MJ’s children the beneficiaries of his estate?

Ironically, I think if he was still alive there would be no money left at all because he was notoriously bad with money and was an excessive spend thrift. People around him used his legacy to build back money for the estate after he died. (Partly because his lawyers needed to be paid).

They are the primary beneficiaries but I know Paris has said it's being mismanaged, Paris seems to have been in court a few times over it, even today it was in the news that $600k+ was ordered to be returned to the estate that they had given out in bonuses to law firms.

Nothing would convince me to even contemplate such a thing. I almost panicked at the thought of any of my children too near a river side.

He said something like people should appreciate how kind he was being to let people see the baby. Pure narcissism.

They weren’t LMAO. I remember it happening - the cheers turned to screams when he dangled the baby.

I can’t believe the apologists on here. Do you have kids of your own? I ask because my views on him were sharpened once I became a parent.

Stupid things? It was absolutely grossly unacceptable and extremely dangerous.

MyTrivia · 15/05/2026 08:40

Because nothing about him suggested autism. The abuse is what made him what he was. I think he had NPD personally.

Look at him as a child. He was very confident, sure of himself and articulate. He was actually very mature for his age and had a very astute perception of things. He himself said that people saw him as a 40 year old child.

Who knows, but he was obsessive, hyper focused, fixated, probably an eating disorder and many other things

Many people seen to have or diagnosed with PDs are thought to be misdiagnosed and have ASD instead

If he was ND he would have been highly masking due to his childhood then I would have thought, in utter fear as a child.

Either way, nothing caused his being an abuser, that was his choice.

He said when he gets upset he stops eating, sometimes until he's unconscious and on the dangerous tour he ended up being fed intravenously.

TheJoySpreader · 16/05/2026 09:22

Of course I agree the baby dangling was absolutely terrible, and he was clearly on drugs (which I also can understand due to the pressure cooker that was his life, plus the physical pain he was in coupled with the physical and mental demands of his role in a very abnormal life) and he was quite unstable at that point but this thread is about the allegations.

I just want to address the settlement to the families, because now I’ve read the full thread I’ve noticed some people think he actually chose to settle out of court (assuming this was because he was guilty)

MJ desperately wanted to fight the allegations in a court , he was absolutely desperate to clear his name but the insurance company weighed up the cost of him doing so and cancelling his tour vs them paying out and without the tour they stood to lose millions, so they forced the payout and forced him to proceed with his tour instead.

Being MJ he was often a prisoner of the system and did not have free choices and this was one of those times! He was forced to settle and go on tour anyway.

I cannot imagine the pain of living within this trap, controlled and pushed around by money making control systems all the time despite being a real person at the eye of the storm, and now that I no longer believe the allegations I’ve had chance to really think about how that must have felt for him and it’s truly sad.

He didn’t so much ‘invite’ kids into his life for sleepovers as just let many many families come and go as they pleased to Neverland, he wasn’t even there a lot of the times when many many other families were staying there. He just let people stay and use Neverland and he loved the children and let them stay over with him but in doing so he made himself the biggest target. I think it was wrong for sure but just sad, rather than sexually motivated

So yeah I believe it WAS a storm of his own making by not having boundaries with these grifters, but then there was no way out and so he got tarred a pedophile
