Thanks @JewelleryCat I had an electric one but it was so loud and then it broke! I do need to get a new one though I suppose. That one looks good but I can't do the twisting motion and hold it closed so its the awful electric one I'd need

@ValleyClouds sorry your outing was spoiled. Just because we're disabled doesn't mean we are incapable. Can you try somewhere else next time?
@bedfrog the birds here tend to start their rave between 2.30 & 3am. Noisy little blighters. Don't mind when they start around 8am though.

Frustrating week for me. I stopped the steroids nearly a month ago. The weakness is gradually getting worse/coming back despite the 2 part Rituximab infusion back in Feb & March. Emailed my rheumatologist today. Awaiting advice.

I’ve never used an electric one so can’t help with any sort of brand. Maybe there are quieter ones available?

@CoffeeBeansGalore I’m a bit restricted by wheelchair access - a lot of the salons round here have a ridge or a step, the place I would rather go and did go before the chair I wouldn’t get the chair in the door
