Kuwait government urges people to stay inside their homes tonight
People in Kuwait are being told to avoid going out from 12:00 midnight to 06:00 tomorrow morning.
The Ministry of Interior says in a statement shared on X that "citizens and residents are urged to stay at home and only go out if absolutely necessary".
It says that the "measure aims to maintain safety, support security operations, and ensure stability".

UAE 'actively engaging' in shooting down missiles
The UAE's ministry of defence says its air defence systems are "actively engaging" with incoming missiles and drones.
In a graphic with English text shared on X, the ministry says that "the sounds heard across the country are the result of ongoing engaging operations of missiles and UAVs."
It continues: "The public is urged to remain calm and follow the safety and security instructions issued by relevant authorities".

They should have not left it till this late, but if they do, at least, say something, that will count. They should have taken the past chance to declare the war illegal when this started.

Nope. Johnson and Grassley are both so far up Scrotus' arse they could remove his wisdom teeth without a flashlight.

Killing Trump will not do much for the recovery of democracy. Plus, we will get Vance and not sure if Vance is any better, though I think Vance is not pro wars abroad.
A US democratic system take over from Trump, writting of some new bits in that Constitution to prevent a single person holding that much power and a brand new election is what is needed.
Someone should go in and convince Trump to extend the deadline, till Congress can do something. Or to just declare victory, and pack it!

If there is a shadow of democracy left in US, Congress should dethrone Trump, pronto.
If Congress fails, then only the military refusing to obey will do. I do not see this happening. They may refuse some missions, but even that would be quite unprecedented.
Here we are, another day the world iskept hanging on each word this guy says..... now that is sad, because he is a useless speaker, between many other flaws.
