What are your favourite teabags? Currently like twinings everyday but trying to budget.

I like a good strong cup of tea and usually get Sainsbury’s gold label

FondPelican · 01/04/2026 10:47

I love Clipper but not sure they’re any less expensive.

Whosthetabbynow · 01/04/2026 10:47

Tesco own brand extra strong

M&S red label.

Nicaveron · 01/04/2026 10:49

Yorkshire T-bags. 2 big packs £11.50 in Farmfoods

Namechangeoften · 01/04/2026 10:49

I know this is a heinous crime, but Yorkshire biscuit tea 🫣

Lifesyoungdream · 01/04/2026 10:49

I buy Yorkshire tea bags but have found M&S red label tea bags as recommended on here a cheaper alternative.

Tcateh · 01/04/2026 10:50

Thompson red, used to be called Punjana.
Leave to steep a bit. Never bitter. Got a few people on to them.

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 01/04/2026 10:51

Thanks all. Think it’s between Tesco and M&S now!

M&S gold every time

Elisheva · 01/04/2026 10:51

Cornish tea - Smugglers brew. My friend bought me a bag of 1000 for my birthday 😁

M&S gold every time

Absolutely!

Ive found nothing as good and many guests commenting on ‘that’s a good cuppa’! (I keep some in my handbag for work too - I’ve turned into a tea snob!)

BridgetJonesV2 · 01/04/2026 11:58

We have Cornish Tea for work, Clipper organic at home and M & S decaff for afternoons. Very happy with all 3.

ButtonMoonMrsSpoon · 01/04/2026 12:01

Thompsons punjana

DilemmaDelilah · 01/04/2026 12:20

Sainsburys Earl Grey decaffeinated

Boiledeggandtoast · 01/04/2026 12:22

Another vote for M&S Gold.

dizzydizzydizzy · 01/04/2026 12:25

Williamson tea! It’s next level.

wracky · 01/04/2026 12:28

Yorkshire every time.

I don't like their decaf so much so I have to slum it with M&S for those!

NeedToKnow101 · 01/04/2026 12:35

Jing tea is next level. But unaffordable as an everyday cuppa.

Deadringer · 01/04/2026 12:37

Lyons gold blend for me.

reluctantbrit · 01/04/2026 12:45

Williamson or TeaPig. The latter when on offer via their website

twilightcafe · 01/04/2026 12:50

Waitrose Gold is consistently good.

Rayna37 · 01/04/2026 12:59

I love Clipper but honestly Aldi Gold is great; how it’s made makes a bigger difference than brand imho (4 min brew, good stir, with plenty of milk).

deeahgwitch · 01/04/2026 13:04

Tcateh · 01/04/2026 10:50

Thompson red, used to be called Punjana.
Leave to steep a bit. Never bitter. Got a few people on to them.

I’m another Punjana / Thompson Red tea drinker.
Which is unusual for someone living in the Republic of Ireland where it’s assumed you either drink Barry’s Tea or Lyons Tea. 😀

purplepie1 · 01/04/2026 13:08

Ringtons gold
