Do you buy adult DCs an Easter egg ?

I still get one off my DM as does DH off of my DM
I still buy for our adult dc and their partner . In fact I still do a Easter basket for adult dc and partner - see also Xmas treat box .
The partner said today they love it as their parents don't do it after age 16 . Which is probably pretty standard.

I just would feel bad not doing it now, plus I do enjoy doing it. This year I started buying when offers started to spread the cost though as some were daft prices

I have got dd aged 22 one 😊❤️ why not? If you can afford it and they’re around at Easter…. It’s a nice thing to do.

I do and my parents bought me eggs until they were too ill/passed. We love chocolate so it’s not as if it’ll go to waste.

We all swap eggs or gifts - me and DH give to our respective parents and they to us. Neither I nor DSis have kids so we are still the kids, even in our 50s 😁

My friend said I'm nuts and pointless, i replied so you're telling me you wouldn't like to get a egg as an adult. She said oh yeah I would but I never do so just assumed it wasn't the done thing. So I gave her an egg from my stash - probably started something there.

My DM also buys for us as ‘kids’, the grandkids and now great grandkids. I buy for DP, DS 21 and his gf. We also still do chocolate advent calendars too

Yep. Dd is 21 and ds is 13. I still do them an Easter hunt with mini foil eggs in the garden and then when they’ve finished their hunt they come inside to find their Easter eggs on the kitchen table. Will do this to include dds bf this year too. It’s very tongue in cheek now that they’re older, but we all still love it (probably me more than them!!)

Yes I still.buy them and they are grown up with partners so I buy them for their partners too.
I think it's strange to stop when they get to 16 Easter eggs are not just for children there are plenty of chocolate eggs that are obviously meant for adults

My 53 year old brother is coming to visit us for Easter and he's getting an Easter Egg. It's not expensive and everyone loves an Easter Egg, so if someone is in my house at Easter they get an egg.

Always buy for my DH, my DC and their partners, and my DGC. I do Xmas stockings for the adult DC too. X

My children are in their 50s and still get one, along with partners and grandchildren.

DH and I get one every year from PIL and used to get them from GMIL until she died age 96. They are big gift givers and always include everyone.

My parents will buy them for the kids if they see them over Easter (don't live locally) but not us. They're very generous with money and time and help.

I do but this is the first year I cba to buy a bigger one. They've got standard size Cadbury's. I get myself one as well as no-one else seems to think I might want one.

Yes I always buy for adult dc, same with advent Callander. It seems so joyless (money problems aside) to not do these little traditions.

We don't even buy for ours now and they are 8 and 10. They get them from aunts and uncles, grandparents, godparents and one year someone who happened to be staying at the same time so bought us all one. It's all way too much and lasts for months so no point us adding to it.

My parents bought me and my brother eggs til we had kids I think. Since then they buy for the kids. Eldest is 19 but would be extremely put out if she didn't get an egg. In fact I'm still planning a easter egg hunt for them (age 15,17,19).

I've bought one each for my DCs who are 17 and 22.

My parents stopped buying Easter eggs for me and my siblings when we were quite young and I was always sad about not having egg shaped chocolate anymore, so I'll probably be buying my DCs Easter eggs for the rest of my life to over compensate for my lack.

With no explanation, my DM has stopped buying me an Easter egg. I am outraged. Considering NC.
