So you're a far-right supporter then?

It does comes across more as one of those performative attempts to show political purity. Which to be fair tends to be the historic sine non qua of left wing agitators in the UK.

Splitters.

derxa · 31/03/2026 08:48

Of course. 🤣

It’s not funny. If you object to a march against the far right it’s logical to assume you support it.

I think the point is you can't know what everyones motives in the march are. I mean OK, it's an anti right wing march. But there may still be some meat eaters there (for example). Or people vaping. Or people not using fairtrade suppliers.

You have to be careful who you are seen with.

BIossomtoes · 31/03/2026 09:13

I think you can be fairly certain that nobody with far right beliefs was on that march, regardless of their dietary preferences or nicotine addiction.

But "fairly certain" isn't 100% sure.

I appreciate that these threads do highlight the ludicrous sights of right wing batshittery. However, it doesn't mean the left aren't capable of equally mind numbing positions.

I am reminded of the AV vote where a couple of people I have known for years agitating for electoral reform voted against the measure as it wasn't what they had set their sights on.

PickAChew · 31/03/2026 09:43

I'm sure there are many on the centre right who object strongly to the pervading far right influence.

Then they need to speak up when Yaxley Lennon and friends are marching.
It’s good enough to complain about left wing protests and remain silent when the far right do it.

Apologies for garbled post MN very glitchy for me the ghost typing & constant freezing is driving me nuts.

Enjoy the film, have heard that it's very good.

I'm very busy at the moment, so canvassing is out for me. Good to know that it's positive on the doorstep.

I don’t object to the march. It’s just that one of main images from the march was ZP dancing beside a man wearing bondage gear. I can’t abide him and Farage and ZP are peas from the same pod.

DuncinToffee · 31/03/2026 11:44

The post you were commenting on didn't even mention ZP

Farage in bondage gear 🤢😂

Your next door neighbour could be wearing bondage gear every night. (and thinking about you)

Exactly. It's not necessary to piss all over a post from someone who's been part of something positive.

It was deliberate. Ultimately ending how it did, which was to be expected. No surprise 🫢

PandoraSocks · 31/03/2026 13:15

I see MN is gearing up for the elections with thread and posts featuring:

Benefit bashing ✅️
Islamophobia/Great Replacement ✅️
Allegations of various cover ups ✅️

It's like the run up to the 2024 GE all over again.

DuncinToffee · 31/03/2026 13:18

I noticed the uptick in benefit bashing threads, 'just asking'

OP posts:

This has taken quite a turn. 🤣😳. The truth is I’m going slightly doolally watching lamb cam. Sleep deprived. Only 2 ewes left. ZP gives me the boak though. I hope neither him nor Farage get anywhere near power. Hell I’d rather have Keir.

Notonthestairs · 31/03/2026 13:39

Polanski isnt my cup of tea. But if we allow far right protests then equally left wing protests should be allowed.

Have to say I'm a bit disappointed that the visit by the King to the US is going ahead.

Normally I think sending them off places is the price of doing business but given the tirades coming from the US at the moment I'd prefer not to see our head of state standing shoulder to shoulder with Trump.

Maybe King Charles bonespurs could flare up ?

DuncinToffee · 31/03/2026 14:06

The Dutch king and queen are also doing a US state visit in April

Maybe they can all divert to Canada mid flight.
