Except that he’ll never realise that he’s the biggest loser of all.

There's a tune you could sing that too ....

Wonder if @MsJinks is on the protest march?

PickAChew · 28/03/2026 16:39

I was going to be smug about the glorious sunshine we've had, taking the edge off the wind, then we got a shower of rain and hail of our own.

BestIsWest · 28/03/2026 17:03

One of the Reform candidates in our constituency has resigned complaining all the other candidates above him on the list are ex-Tories and novices. He’s not wrong.

BestIsWest · 28/03/2026 17:05

It’s not too bad weather wise here. I’ve just been out and planted my sweet peas. Dire warnings for tomorrow though, an event I was going to has been cancelled.

Cheguevarahamster · 28/03/2026 17:21

Was in central London today. I couldn't join the March unfortunately. But poped into the cartoon museum and this tickled me so I'm paying additional tax and a tribute to the late Dame Jenni.

This must be the only time this century the BBC suddenly missed a chance to plug Dads Army.

Yes, the missing "detail" from the ever-so-trustworthy BBC was that the protest was actually a bunch of people singing the Dads Army theme tune.

I’d have loved to have been on that march. I’m so grateful to the half million people who turned out.

DuncinToffee · 28/03/2026 17:50

I remember, German television showed the long line

DD and I were planning to go on this march, but my sciatica threw a painful spanner in the works. So we've had a productive day installing a compost bin, making foccaccia from scratch and doing DD's next dye job - tulips (will post a photo when we've done the background).

Hello everybody I am keeping up and I realise I have been ducking tax recently. Here is one from today’s march in London. It was very, very busy and a whopper of a turnout!

Well done!

ThatbloodyRoblox · 28/03/2026 22:12

Thanks Piggy. Sadly my local Facebook page thinks anyone here today is just causing trouble as their is no racism in our town 🙄and we are complicit in the grooming and rape of young girls. So that’s me told! 🙄

Ignore. Meta is doubling down regardless of the current prosecutions in California. The people making comments are bots.

Those banners on the right 😅

So clever.

The Reform party Treasurer is citing articles 6 and 7 of the European Convention on Human Rights in writing to the government to oppose the proposed £100k cap on donations from voters resident abroad.

Reform would quit the ECHR
