Can I just check that everyone puts their knickers on first?

Reading a novel, someone puts their bra on, then their knickers. This is so obviously wrong I'm not sure I can read any more. If they get this so wrong, then nothing in the novel is to be trusted! Nobody ever in the history of the universe has put on their bra before their knickers, surely?

I put bra on first, but only because I put Estragel on all arms and legs and it's easier to get a bra on while it's drying than knickers. TMI, and not an appealing thought. Sorry. When I was younger and lovelier, I would have put on an attractive pair of knickers first.

But if I’m in PJs then I’ll often do bra and then deodorant and top half before doing bottom half - especially if it’s cold!

Depends. If I am drying off after a shower or swim, it is easier to dry my top half then wrap a towel round my waist while I put deodorant/moisturiser on. So bra first.

If I am getting changed or just got out of bed, probably knickers first. I don’t have strong views in that situation.

Knickers need to be on first in case there's a sudden emergency and I have to escape. I'd rather be braless than knickerless
