Well, that's what community is - not fucking around with flags.

Our street whatsapp has exploded with thanks - our neighbours have treated the whole street.

Oh Jane, that is such a beautiful thing. Thanks for sharing. ❤️

Despicable behaviour from the Reform Kent councillors such dregs of humanity I am presuming they can’t be reprimanded for spewing such untrue & hateful rhetoric.

I just read about that. Absolute bastards. Disgusting racism.

PickAChew · 19/03/2026 19:52

Even the tories walked out and refused to debate with the cunts.

Such a lovely gesture from your neighbours, Jane, spreading joy at a time when it's needed so much.

Channel migrants deported to France under the ‘one in, one out’ deal have returned to Britain hidden in lorries.

At least four people who were flown back to France after reaching the UK on small boats across the Channel re-entered in lorries in the past two weeks.
Two have been detained by Home Office immigration enforcement officers and two are living at unknown locations in London, according to The Guardian, which first revealed the returnees.

Another stunning success by this Labour government.

Both said they were returned forcibly to the UK by smugglers who want to try to break the “one in, one out” scheme,

Sounds like the scheme is rattling the smugglers

Yes, and let's be honest - flaws or not, this scheme is still doing exponentially better than the Rwanda deal. Not to mention that this government has deported more people since any government after 2017. And that immigration is very substantially down. Facts are inconvenient little beasts, aren't they?

Well i don't think its a stunning success.... but its several 100 more migrants returned to France than under the previous Govt who returned ZERO migrants to France.

Then there is the falls from1m migrants net per year under Sunak to around 200k net now.

Which i think even you would call a "Stunning Success..."

Agree.

I think 4 people returning is not something to get her up about tbh. Especially not at the moment. Interesting though that the Telegraph (which is where ✈️'s cut and paste is from, quelle surprise) is now essentially resorting to lifting articles from other newpapers.

Nah, it would only be stunning success under Farage. You forget the everything under Labour must be seen as a failure.Hmm

Anything to highlight how awful Labour are.

MsJinks · 20/03/2026 09:24

Labour immigration policies are not my preference and their rhetoric around them has really disappointed me - what I fail to understand though is why the right wing voters who bang on about this subject aren’t happy with the direction of less immigration, tougher rules etc etc - they’re still desperate to say labour is failing on this - so what do they think (or hope) would ‘improve’ for them in this area if Kemi or Farage get in power?

I have to think it is the aggressive and racist attitude they want - cheering on dropping migrants in Rwanda and so on - abhorrent and quite disturbing really.

I also think, much like brexit, there will never be a consensus on how much immigration is welcome or how it is managed - so continuing hatred and divisive politics sadly.

DuncinToffee · 20/03/2026 09:34

They look at the US and ICE and think, yeah let's have some of that over here.

Ironically, the US is now wanting to make it easier for migrants to work on US farms as they are facing a labour shortage🤔

Mahmood might be in trouble a bit as she seems to be quoting false numbers.

Needs to brush up on his "English" history are discover there was at least one mosque in Elizabethan London.

But he's a deliberately ignorant cunt - like some MN posters - so won't.

So that's him, Timothy and Badenoch all outing themselves as bigots. Obviously we already knew about Farage, Robinson et al.

Hopefully the CofE will be as direct with its fuck offs as the pope.

QT was lively last night.
The audience members laughed at the Reform rep and the Tory woman was dreadful.
Actually , in my opinion, even FB seemed rather irritated by her.
This surprised me and I may wonder, are people beginning to acknowledge what a steady pair of hands our PM has.

James Orr reform and Helen Whately Tory.

Both are awful at presentation. James needs to smile more (not sexist) and Helen needs to - well, where to start?
