This is the plan. I am overwhelmed and overrun with lovely kitchen and dining items. Beautiful plates, mugs, bowls etc.
Love them all but going into my dotage the wish is to slim down belongings that no one is going to want and not leave the utter overstuffed cupboards that my mum did in her death.
Started three days ago and my plan is as one sells to add another.
Painting, mugs and jug gone already.
Anyone want to join me?
Today is a Pip trinket dish.

Great idea. I’m upping my Vinted game this year, mainly outgrown kids clothes but a few unused birthday gifts and house items that just aren’t being used. I started putting items aside to sell and ended up with a messy pile last year so it has to go. I’ve made £150 already, amazing how it adds up. I’ve decided it has to work for me though, no going out of my way, I’m only dropping off at lockers and only selling smaller items to make it easier. If something doesn’t sell within a couple of weeks, it’s off to the charity shop. I’ve at up a bank space for Vinted and cashback so I can put it towards Christmas. Fingers crossed for you x

Charity shop after two weeks is a good idea. Thanks for that.

I’d like to join! From Monday I’m going to try and list one thing to sell a day. Loads of clothes and unused beauty stuff. I’ve never sold on Vinted before, only eBay.

cherrymauve · 28/02/2026 11:21

That’s three of us!

Oo I will join. Did a good flurry last year and made about 500. Have collected a whole mountain of stuff now from around the house and attic which is waiting and I need to get cracking.

cherrymauve · 28/02/2026 11:28

Today’s item lasted about 15 minutes then sold. So on with the next one.

ooh can I join you.
I need to sell lots of clothes and other general items to clear the way for a wardrobe sort out as I’m determined to lose weight for dd2 wedding in the summer.
I’m 11lb down and would like to lose another 11 lb .
if I sell stuff I can’t regain the weight!

cherrymauve · 28/02/2026 11:55

@blizymitzy Congrats on the weight loss. You’re in our Vinted gang now.

I've listed a pair of jeans today. I'm trying to get back in to Vinted but taking small steps.

Peonyperfection · 28/02/2026 17:16

Yay! I’ve sold something today. Sorry, I listed a few things a couple of days ago, I before I found this thread! Oddly it sold yesterday, then the buyer cancelled about an hour later, so I had to relist it. It suddenly had a lot of views, so I assume that’s the Vinted algorithm working in my favour. Only £2.50 but it all adds up.

Fushia123 · 28/02/2026 17:50

Is it straightforward to take something off Vinted if it doesn’t sell?

Fantastic. Keep the momentum going.

Sold two items yesterday, another one to go on this morning.
How are you all doing?

GameOfJones · 01/03/2026 09:14

Can I join you? I have a few items that have been on Vinted for weeks and are cluttering up the spare room so I think taking them to the charity shop is a good idea.

Although last night I listed a pair of shoes and they sold within minutes. I need to post them today or tomorrow.

stayathomegardener · 01/03/2026 09:42

I’m in, I think I procrastinate because there’s so much to sell but actually an item a day is doable.

Peonyperfection · 01/03/2026 14:00

A kids clothes bundle sold today, only £4 but it will be out the house on Monday.

stayathomegardener · 01/03/2026 16:05

One hat sold £45
two offers on a bag £3/£4 not confirmed.

5 new things listed and a couple of high value Vinted items I have had up for a while relisted on eBay.

Thanks for the nudge OP.

Fatmumslim01 · 01/03/2026 16:34

Can I join? I used to sell loads on vinted average around 4 sales a week but since Ive been busier at work I just haven't had time. Recently lost 4 stone on Mounjaro so lots of clothes to get rid of.

I'm aiming to upload one item a day, although if I do 2 in a day I can take the next day off 😂 but I want it to become routine again!

GoldenTobes · 01/03/2026 16:41

I’ve used EBay in the past but not for a while. Is Vinted better? I’d like to join you and free up some space if I can.

LentilBurt · 01/03/2026 17:02

I love this idea. I came across this post which lists some of the weird shit that has sold on Vinted so I’ve got no excuses now makemoneywithoutajob.com/weirdest-things-that-have-sold-on-vinted/

Lostand44 · 01/03/2026 17:55

I’d love to join! I also have a huge mountain of stuff that I’ve been promising to list for at least a year! Sometimes I spend a few free days listing items but then after the initial flurry, they sit there until a few weeks later when I delete them because I don’t want anyone to buy anything as I’m too busy to post it… and back into the pile of doom they go.

I now have no idea what’s even in the ‘vinted pile’ but it takes up a lot of space that I need. Any money made would be brilliant as I’m not exactly flush at the moment however, I think I value the physical and headspace more so I intend to price to sell this time.

1 item per day for the month of March is a nice, achievable target so I will list my 1st item tonight and see how it goes.

Sparkle16 · 01/03/2026 17:58

I started last weekend. But uploaded a lot at once and already at £150 mine is going towards a new bike and a greenhouse.

Theimpossiblegirl · 01/03/2026 18:23

Can I join please? I've got so many clothes and it would be nice to have a bit of motivation.
