I cat even decide what I think about this because I can’t get over wondering why the fuck anyone is asking Boris Johnson anything
UK should send non-combat troops to Ukraine now, former PM Johnson tells BBC https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cp32n6vxqplo

Former prime minister Boris Johnson speaking while holding out both hands. In the foreground, out of focus, we see the back of a woman with blonde hair.

UK should send non-combat troops to Ukraine now, former PM Boris Johnson tells BBC

Troops should be deployed to peaceful parts of the country in non-fighting roles, he said.

He can go first.

Karistyleaftea · 21/02/2026 16:14

Johnson looks rather frantic in that pic.
There must be squirrels around.

When PM, Johnson would have (and did) tell Starmer to fuck off over everything.

Why should the favour not be repaid ?

BaronessBomburst · 21/02/2026 16:16

I prefer Lyons.

My local Waitrose still has Irwin's soda wheaten, fruit loaf and potato bread. Forever grateful 🙏

Absolutely brilliant. But I am extra pleased for Mullet Man Jorrit Bergsma. What a way to give ageism a slap in the face.

dontcallmelen · 21/02/2026 17:06

Absolutely excellent day well done those men & women in orange🥇
@BaronessBomburst Thompsons at push definitely not Lyons throws the gauntlet back.

He's also been denied access to the Moon, Mars, and Jupiter. Maybe the universe is telling him something ?

i doubt anyone in Clacton actually expected Farage would turn up and get stuff done!

But that message from Farage’s spokesperson is very funny.

Happy sunny Sunday to you as well.

It comes as no surprise that Nige would pull a stunt like that. He's probably sourcing a hospital ship as we type.

The Geordie bar that hosted him ended having to close its TripAdvisor reviews. (Metro article)

We had a deletion 😂

Oh, is it against Talk guidelines to be disparaging about the people of Clacton?

That was the first deletion we have had for absolutely ages, I think. Someone was waiting a long time to pounce!

MNHQ have admitted in the past that they have had to grapple with my sense of humour.

E2A: On occasion I've reported posts, (which I do silently).

Piggywaspushed · 22/02/2026 15:44

And yet, a post which used the term inbreeding was left up. Every day, I have a new thing to wonder about.
