What's your Greggs order

Just got to work and realised I've left my lunch at home.
Will have to pop to Greggs for a tuna crunch baguette.
What do you usually have?

This is one.. says on Google though that they are in Scottish locations. Im sorry 😞 I dont think you will get one unless you come here on holiday 🤣

Well since you're willing to move house for the secret menu items (I laughed out loud when I read your posts 😂) it seems only fair I can take a trip up norf for one of those beauties!
I'll bring you some Tottenham cake 😉

Hey thats an idea eh...you come to mine and il go to yours, fridge full of scotch pies for you and the cake for me 🤣🤣🤣

saraclara · 04/02/2026 21:52

Ooh, I googled. Tottenham cake made me nostalgic for school dinners in the 1960s. Not that I knew that that pudding had a name back then.

We are so going to get MNHQ commenting, warning us of the dangers of meeting total randoms on here, with promises of scotch pies and Tottenham cake 🤣

Thanks for responding @BearSoFair

Oooh so you're 'dahn sarf' in Tottenham Cake territory 🙌
What is the best seller from the hot counter in your store, and which of the filled baguettes?
Just interested because the tuna crunch always seem to be empty, but the lovely people at ours are happy to make one up for me.

Tuna crunch probably our best seller too, or ham and cheese. Chicken club on a huge downward trend which is nice for me as it's quite a faff to make

Steak bakes are definitely the most popular bake (after sausage rolls of course)

Greggs fun fact: we butter baguettes with a spatula and all the wet fillings are portioned out by using ice-cream-style scoops!

chocciebiscuits · 04/02/2026 22:20

I am very near to Tottenham in N London and bought a piece of Tottenham cake today in Greggs funnily enough 😂 just like school cake with pink icing on top but still called Tottenham cake down here 😍

rainbowsparkle28 · 04/02/2026 22:22

Possibly a cup of tea (Coeliac disease I’m looking at you) 👀

TirednessOnToast · 04/02/2026 22:33

Brekkie: pain au chocolate, flat white
Lunch: tomato soup, cheese & onion bake
Afternoon: Tea, jammy heart shortbread

I got a too good to go bag last week:
4 bakes, 2 toasties, 2 baguettes, 4 doughnuts
£4 (!!)

OneOfEachPlease · 04/02/2026 22:35

Breakfast: bacon sandwich with tomato ketchup and the orange colour innocent juice.

Hungover breakfast: as above, but add a pain au chocolat

Work lunch: either the chicken salad roll or chicken salad baguette again with the innocent juice.

Random treats or when stopping at a Greggs on the motorways: sausage roll or Belgian bun or jam heart biscuit or jam doughnut.

Kickinthenostalgia · 04/02/2026 22:50

My Greggs tells me what I’m getting because more often than not they are bit slow on the upkeep of keeping stuff filled up. So everytime is different. I must say Greggs pizza is phenomenal though. Always a go to when they haven’t sold out.

i do without a doubt get a bacon and sausage bap with brown sauce every Saturday from the one next to work. It’s my end of week treat 😄

BarbarianBabs · 04/02/2026 22:51

Vegan sausage roll and an apple danish!

Blanketpolicy · 04/02/2026 22:59

Used to love a Greggs in the 1990s and a big softie (brown), chicken mayo, sweetcorn, salad and an apple slice. I don’t think I’ve had one for lunch since back then, have never had one nearby work at lunchtime.

(sorry not helpful, just reminiscing)

ChocolateCinderToffee · 04/02/2026 23:01

Egg mayo butty. I’m very restrained.

smellycat98 · 04/02/2026 23:09

I quite like the chicken and bacon baguette. The cheese and onion pasty or the cheese and bean ones are nice too. The cookies are nice and they also do a delicious peppermint hot chocolate but think that’s just a Christmas thing. Have to say I prefer cooplands for sausage rolls though.

ShowMeTheSea · 04/02/2026 23:13

If I'd left my lunch 😭 - There's a sweet potato bhaji bowl which is delicious. I'd have that and maybe a donut.
Or a couple of vegan sausage rolls.

julesover40 · 05/02/2026 09:41

Thank you ladies, I read this tread at 4.30am (thanks menopause) and have stopped on my way to work for a jammy heart biscuit for my tea break and a sausage roll for my lunch. I am very much looking forward to grazing through today 😚

navystrap · 05/02/2026 09:49

I don’t really eat Greggs anymore as it’s unhealthy but in my fantasy order I’d have a hot cheese and onion pasty (they were so often cold) and a pineapple cake, with either a can of coke or a cup of tea, Ideally I’d get the pasty home and smother it in a tin of baked beans. I occasionally liked the vegan sausage roll as well.

FurForksSake · 05/02/2026 09:51

Lots of things aren’t healthy, but once in a while I’m pretty certain will do you no harm at all. Perhaps take ten seconds off your life span? Sounds worth it to me 🤣🫣

navystrap · 05/02/2026 09:54

@FurForksSake This is true but there are other things I’d rather indulge in occasionally than Greggs to be honest so it’s off the menu for me. I did have it as a student though. I would maybe occasionally have a pineapple cake if my mum has them in when I go round to visit.

Bobbedhairdontcare · 05/02/2026 10:06

I have a tuna crunch and a packet of sweet chilli crisps. I used to love the cheese and onion slice but the last one I had gave me the most horrific heartburn I drank Gaviscon all day! Have they changed the recipe? If so I’m gutted.

BearSoFair · 05/02/2026 10:10

@Bobbedhairdontcare yes cheese and onion recipe changed last year if I remember rightly. So did chicken, the sauce is a bit 'gummy' and gloopy as it cools now Sad

BagaChips · 05/02/2026 10:11

Taweofterror · 04/02/2026 12:59

Then I'm not sure how you found yourself on a thread with the title 'whats your Greggs order' tbh!

Because how else would that user let everyone else know how superior they are compared to us? They always have to come along and tell us. There was a thread the other day called 'what's your favourite pick & mix?' so of course someone came along and just had to tell everyone that they hate sweets

chequeredcushion · 05/02/2026 10:15

Does anyone remember the savoury cheese baguette? I used to buy it all the time as a student around 2006ish

I miss it so much I even emailed them when I was pregnant begging them to bring it back but they acted like they didn’t know what I was on about.

These days I have to settle for tuna crunch but I hardly ever go. If they brought the cheese savoury baguette back I’d be in every week.
