Just being nosey!

£129 DS’s main birthday present
£25 soft play
Was going to stock up on my skincare (been substituting with cheap stuff for a few months) this evening but feel like I might need to hold that off now.

Loving your style, @Arlanymor 😂 .Hope you manage to send something in.

Thank you!! 😂😅I have the bones of the idea but I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate a bit of a twist... hopefully I will find the answer at the bottom of another glass of wine, as it wasn't at the bottom of the current one sadly!!

SheWillBeTheDeathOfMe · 31/01/2026 16:30

£180 in Tesco 😰
Cooking for friends tonight and making some curries, but will pop to takeaway for naans and bhajis etc as I can’t make them as nicely and cba, so they will be about another £25.

Hoping to spend £0 tomorrow and got around £50 worth of clothes to take back in town as I panic bought last weekend for a work trip I went on earlier in the week.

BellaLunaa · 31/01/2026 16:36

£5.20 on car parking and £9.90 on two coffees.

Expected it to be more as we went shopping but didn’t see anything we liked.

£185 on weekly food shop between Morrisons and Lidl. Higher than usual as my daughter was with me and we were both hungry. Next week I'll do it online as I bought more than I would normally due to being hungry, kept adding it to the trolley. That was all fresh food, no freezer or cleaning/laundry stuff

Sent ds1 £20 to go into the city with friends. Apart from that I’ve had a free day of cleaning, exercising, walking the dog and that’s about it.

Sgtmajormummy · 31/01/2026 17:15

Today, nothing.
I have the luxury of time to go shopping on weekdays and leave Saturday to those who don’t.
As it’s the last day of January I’ve done our monthly spreadsheet and I could tell you to the cent how much we’ve spent.

But I’m not going to give that information to a random on the Internet!

So since I posted earlier, having spent £500 by lunchtime, I've just had to go and buy a new colour printer for DS2 who has A level Art coursework due in first thing on Monday morning and ours completely died, and then forgot I needed wine for next weekend's dinner party....so am now about £900 down today 🤯🤯
