Just being nosey!
£152 weekly shop in Tesco
£129 DS’s main birthday present
£25 soft play
Was going to stock up on my skincare (been substituting with cheap stuff for a few months) this evening but feel like I might need to hold that off now.

A lot more than usual, about 600 quid because I paid my dd for Harry styles tickets that she ordered for me, and i ordered a pair of fitflops for myself. I am afraid to look at my bank account.

JolenesBestPal · 31/01/2026 14:49

Was about to say £0 then remembered I shopped online for a new pair of trainers for dd so £50
Drinks and meal out later probably cost me another £50/60

LardoBurrows · 31/01/2026 14:50

And Body Shop brought back Dewberry!!

Wait, what - this is the most exciting news I've read this month.

Parker231 · 31/01/2026 14:50

Wonderknicks · 31/01/2026 14:06

£6000 on a trip of a lifetime type holiday!

Sounds good - where are you off to?

Posals · 31/01/2026 14:50

£19 on syringes.
£7 on pastries.
Had a cheap day out in London though, £0 tube travel, £0 kids face painting, puppets, games and craft activites, £0 lunch as we made a packed lunch.

blizymitzy · 31/01/2026 14:51

Nothing and hopefully it will stay that way all weekend .
we are out for lunch tomorrow but it’s pre paid and drinks included!

PurpleLovecats · 31/01/2026 14:52

Nothing here, no money! Hope DH gets paid today!

RightOnTheEdge · 31/01/2026 14:53

£98 Morrisons grocery delivery.
£10 to my daughter who wanted to go on the train to the next town with her friend.
£10 to my son to make it fair.

Buscobel · 31/01/2026 14:53

£8 and a few pence in Sainsbury’s on salad and cottage cheese.
Yesterday I spent £340 in two pairs of glasses.

FurForksSake · 31/01/2026 14:56

£115 on Ocado weekly shop
£5.99 on lamisil as my feet have suddenly gone mouldy.

Sellseashells · 31/01/2026 14:57

£0 today but thoroughly chuffed with my thrifty luxury items spend of yesterday.
32p on some use by date on 4 chocolate ring doughnuts.
2 x tigerbread baguettes for 20p each, ditto date.

Have just scoffed a bacon baguette with doughnut for pud 😋

Blanketenvy · 31/01/2026 14:59

£65 on a haircut. Not planning to spend anything else today. I only have my haircut twice a year but it feels like a lot, but have tried cheaper hairdressers and it's been a disaster.

gamerchick · 31/01/2026 14:59

About a tenner. Cars buggered so needed to get public transport for work.

CeeJay81 · 31/01/2026 14:59

£3.50 for Plums, lemonade and chocolate. Met a friend for coffee but it was her turn to pay. I am fairly skint atm, as have to pay for holiday accommodation soon.

MajesticWhine · 31/01/2026 15:00

Spent about £44 in a small local shop doing a top up food shop for the weekend. Also about £15 on coffees in Gail’s (not just for myself)

Evaporateandlisten · 31/01/2026 15:01

£180. I had skin boosters, had to buy lightbulbs, dinner, dog treats and parking.

Rumpledandcrumpled · 31/01/2026 15:03

I splurged and spent 195 on a pair of trainers, 200 inc delivery, I ordered some hair dye from Amazon too, which was a tenner, and spent a fiver on some elastic shoelaces as I want to use an old pair of trainers for outside and make them slip on.

Moll2020 · 31/01/2026 15:03

£40 in Waterstones but had a £25 Christmas gift card so that was nice and £25 in Boots. I splashed out on nice shampoo for grey hair because I don’t like purple shampoo!

Allseeingallknowing · 31/01/2026 15:05

Zero

Wait, what - this is the most exciting news I've read this month.

I know! It smells just like it used to 😍

GreenCaterpillarOnALeaf · 31/01/2026 15:07

Today is bills day so total 2k has gone out the joint account but out of my personal account £12 - got some new board markers for work and a pack of chalk (very very excited, cannot wait to teach my next lesson at 4!) and a cup of tea in Tesco cafe.

If the children are well behaved will perhaps get a small treat for them but depends on the report back from their farther.

FurForksSake · 31/01/2026 15:22

Ds2 and I are going to gorge on kfc in a bit, dh and ds1 are camping so we are having a treat. It’ll be Deliveroo so £35 probably, it always is. I’m looking forward to a rice box and some chicken thighs.

roses2 · 31/01/2026 15:29

CleanSkin · 31/01/2026 15:31

About £300 on a celebratory family lunch.

billandtedsexcellentadventure · 31/01/2026 15:31
