To me she looks healthy but thoughts?

Is this model too thin or about right?

She's very slim but I wouldn't say too thin, no.

I just wondered if other people thought she was real or AI.

That’s not what you asked, though. You asked about her size.

Also, you’ve now said how beautiful and eye catching she is a few times. She’s a pretty girl, but a fairly generic looking model. Certainly not ‘eye catching’.

What is this thread?

AI or gossipy. Either way, a waste of all of our time 🤦‍♀️

Completely normal and lovely. Everyone around us is overweight/fat so our compass is distorted.

Omg you’re missing my point!

I have already said that companies use edited photos! You was claiming that anyone and everyone was just editing them Willy nilly when they’re not allowed to do so as only the copyright holder can do that! What I have said is that for e-commerce shots they use a whole range of different methods such as using clips at the back of clothing to make them look a better fit on the model. They do NOT go editing the model’s hips and legs and god knows what as they would gain nothing from making the model look completely different when it’s the clothing they’re trying to sell. The most that would have been done in post processing of the picture on this thread is probably getting rid of any dirty marks on the white background, maybe brightening the picture a little etc. They will however, not be editing the shape of the model or her legs or hips for that matter. I’m not sure what butt pads have to do with photo shop.
I’ll leave it here now thanks because you obviously don’t get the point I’m trying to make…. But you go ahead and carry on claiming you know it all when you have no experience of working in the modelling or photography industry. I used to be a model so I know quite a bit more than you do.

You was claiming that anyone and everyone was just editing them Willy nilly

I never said this at all.
I said they get edited and many models are calling it out on social media to show young girls that there is no such thing as perfect.

You obviously don’t have as much experience as you think you do if you think models bodies aren’t often edited.

There are literally models calling this out showing the original photos and then the end photo which has slimmed down their arms or removed their cellulite, even stray strands of hair are removed.

Yes a lot is lighting, positioning and padding/waist clinchers but it’s disingenuous to say that the models aren’t edited.

I have over 20 years experience thank you and never once was my body edited. Please don’t tell me I don’t know as much as I think I do when I’ve lived and worked in that industry. You know absolutely nothing, you just like to think you do! Stop bleating on about something you have no idea about and stop trying to tell me about an industry I have experience of working in when you have none!

So then what’s your problem with what I’ve said?

You agree that photos are edited - which is what I said.

I’ve already said that it’s usually minor things like dirty marks on the background and brightening of the image that are the things edited rather than the models but you keep banging on and on and on about the pictures being edited and models being edited. I’ve stated that in the photo on this thread, the model’s body has in no way being edited… so why do you keep responding? What’s YOUR issue?

Calm down.

I have said that most photos are edited (including their bodies) so it’s likely this one is too.

You have no idea whether this models been edited or not.

You only have to google it or speak to people working in the industry to know that the bodies do get edited.
There are very famous celebs trying to sell clothes and they’ve got an extra foot or the after picture has a slimmed down waist or arm.

Every poster on this thread knows that photos are edited.
There are literally models showing their before and after photos all over the internet.

You’re literally agreeing with what I’m saying and so I’m not sure why you’re getting so worked up about me saying it.

Ok yes I think it’s best if you stop responding as you seem quite worked up over this and you seem to not even know what you’re trying to argue over and just backtracking.

As I said (and you seem to agree) most photos are edited in some way.

Backtracking 😂

Whatever! It seems you clearly don’t know what you’re arguing about. I’ve stated many times in my replies that photos get edited and you keep responding to argue with me that photos get edited 🤣

PinterandPirandello · 28/01/2026 19:39

I think it’s been badly photoshopped.

What’s with the rudeness.

Do you come on here just to try and start arguments with random people.

Like what do you get out of it. It’s weird.

Because you are arguing back at me with the same thing over again and trying to tell me how the industry I work in operates…. and quite frankly it’s getting boring lol.

Please READ what I originally quoted you about! You said….
“I know loads of companies who edit photos.”
And you made some comment about “even models themselves”

So I responded with….
“This is hilarious! You do realise there is such a thing as copyright and the owner of the copyright of a picture is always the photographer (regardless of if you have paid for the photos or not). So no, companies themselves don’t ’edit’ the pictures, a photographer would have to do it! Nobody is allowed to edit/ photoshop a photographer’s work without explicit permission from the photographer! And why would a photographer want the reputation of his work going down the pan by just allowing anyone to edit their photographs Willy nilly! Models are not allowed to edit the pictures or they can be sued. Models don’t even sent their pictures from most jobs, they have to wait until the image comes out on a brand website or ad campaign and they have to sign a contract stating they have no rights to those images. I used to model myself so I know!
It makes me laugh when people who know nothing about the modelling or photography industry bleat on about editing and photoshopping pictures. If ‘models’ are editing their own pictures then they’re obviously not proper ‘models’ and probably just some online influencer or someone who likes to pretend they’re a model and have got someone to take pictures for them from their phone camera or used some backstreet amateur photographer lol.”

Get a grip and stop saying I agree with you! I was talking about copyright! You said COMPANIES edit photos and even models themselves!

I'm pretty sure they just meant that companies request that the photos be edited a certain way. And their comment about the models wasn't saying that models edit the photos...It's a social media thing, where models have shown how they were edited.

There's really no need to be so aggressive.

Edited

That’s not what the poster said. They specifically said “I know loads of companies who edit photos”. I responded that they can’t just edit photos as they generally don’t own the copyright to those photos. If the poster meant that the companies have them edited by the copyright holder then they should have said that.

The poster then keeps arguing back at me saying photos are edited. Yes they may be edited but will be done by the person who owns the copyright and they would have no reason to edit the model in this particular picture…. But again the poster keeps arguing back at me saying photos are edited… when I’m clearly talking about copyright. They are missing the point entirely of what I was saying and we just keep going around in circles.
