To me she looks healthy but thoughts?

Is this model too thin or about right?

She’s lovely .
I’m not understanding your point though.
I’m assuming this isn’t you or someone you know.
Do you think your perspective is a bit off and wanted to see if others agree that’s she’s fine ?

PurpleLovecats · 28/01/2026 12:33

She looks fine to me, gorgeous figure.

BillieWiper · 28/01/2026 12:33

She looks like a normal slim woman. So not as long and thin looking as many models.

Why do you ask? Surely nobody singled out that image and thought it screamed 'skeletal' or 'unwell'?

I am tired of slim shaming. She looks perfectly fine and healthy, same as my DD.
I can imagine the reaction if I went about asking if plus size models look ok.

Chatterlyssecret · 28/01/2026 12:33

Nowt wrong with lass .

Verite1 · 28/01/2026 12:34

Such a bizarre question - why are you asking? She looks fine to me. Slim obviously but not unhealthy.

wishingonastar101 · 28/01/2026 12:34

Bad photoshop job but no, not too thin.

timetogetherimpossible · 28/01/2026 12:34

SleepingStandingUp · 28/01/2026 12:16

Left one.

This is what legs look like when one is taking the weight/ knee flexed back ?

SleepingStandingUp · 28/01/2026 12:36

Idontspeakgermansorry · 28/01/2026 12:24

Her legs look normal too. That's just how slim legs look when you have one straight and one slightly bent.

It just looks a weird line, could just be the angle. I'm fat so wouldn't know. I'd hope you're right, she's absolutely no need of trimming. Now me, I def need some photoshop

It just looked like a weird line on the inside but as I said to pp, I'd hope it's just that as she clearly doesn't need anything trimmed off!

Op are you perhaps a similar size and someone has said something mean? The model looks great

Sofado · 28/01/2026 12:39

Completely normal. Not even the smallest hint of being too thin.

Fernie6491 · 28/01/2026 12:41

When I was a teenager (many, many years ago ), at 5'8" I weighed under eight stone, and couldn't put on any weight, no matter how much I ate! I was incredibly skinny, my legs were even thinner than this model. Perhaps she is the same.
I didn't put on any weight until many years later after childbirth.

LyingToMyTherapist · 28/01/2026 12:07

ffs not this again.

she looks fabulous.

you didn't mention your thoughts OP much considering you started a thread. If you think she's 'ok' why did you start a thread, knowing this topic always ends in a bunfight about fat vs thin?

Edited

The ad showed up on a page I was viewing, and she looked so beautiful I just wondered what people's thoughts were. There is so much AI and photoshop, I wondered whether she looked naturally as beautiful as this or whether it had all been enhanced in someway.

I think her shape has been tidied up a bit but to improve the dress, not to make her look thinner.

Mindbogglingx · 28/01/2026 12:47

Looks like the size of my sister.
Her daughter is a size 6-8 all health just the way they are.
Im more of the rocky road we joke that she got the good jeans.

Ihateboris · 28/01/2026 12:48

Healthy

To see a normal, healthy slim person and straight away wonder or assume if she's photoshopped is purely because most people are fat, and everyone around them too. And I say the word 'normal' for her, she actually isn't normal as the vast minority carry too much weight.

she should be the 'norm.'

Uhghg · 28/01/2026 12:49

Most photos have been enhanced, even just a slightly clinched waist or bigger boobs.

But i definitely don’t think she looks too thin.
She looks quite an average weight, especially compared to most other models.

I don’t have one negative thing to say she’s gorgeous but it probably is edited as most professional photos are.

BunnyLake · 28/01/2026 12:50

I wish I looked like that again. Ah the memories, sigh. She’s gorgeous (as was I once 😊😄).

whatsit84 · 28/01/2026 12:51

She looks similar to me and I am very much a healthy BMI

To everyone saying her waist or breasts have been edited, there are laws against this under the ASA regulations. You are not allowed to tamper with the bodies of models to enhance what the product being model can be achieved. Blemishes are fine, but editing someone's body to make it more appealing is illegal.

are people really so shocked and surprised that she is a slim person? Do you never come across slim
people? Having a nice or slim figure doesn't automatically been she's been edited. Slim and tall people with a small waist do exist you know!

BeChirpyOrca · 28/01/2026 12:53

And what exactly is “about right”?

Do tell me what “right” is and then do tell me what the point of this post is other than to judge someone based entirely on their looks. Irrespective of whether she is perceived as “too fat” or “too thin”, it has absolutely nothing to do with you or anybody else. And even if it was, you’re asking for uneducated opinions on a subject none of us know anything about - her health.

How about we stop tearing women down for not looking “about right” and educate people to keep their noses out, judge people on their actions and not shame them for being too thin or too fat or any other “too” that prompts nothing but hatred towards others.

Change the narrative! We don’t shame men like this so why do we insist on doing it to women?! Why can’t women be judged on their actions, knowledge and contributions instead of the size of their body parts?!

What a pointless post with absolutely no positive objective!

Lifeomars · 28/01/2026 12:53

she looks fine

Lucky you! I wish I’d been more on the ball with my weight as I got older but alas life’s stresses got in the way. I would love to look like this again (need to lose at least 10kg though).

Exactly. She’s completely normal looking.

Where is the fat version of this post? Oh right there isn’t one
