Just that. Interested to see if anyone says what I'm thinking...

Norfolk 🫣

Norfolk is so nice to visit, in my opinion. Beautiful beaches, beautiful parks, beautiful flowers, and a lovely coastline

Iceland…very underwhelming unfortunately

Yeah, not been the same since they sacked Kerry

SandwichMakerHater · 25/01/2026 14:05

Cape Cod. We called it Cape Crud.

TheNightingalesStarling · 25/01/2026 14:05

Las Vegas

Budapest. Unless you want to get off your tits every night, there’s very little to do.

Budapest!

Like Budapest Hungary?

No! It's one of the best cities in Europe I've been to. Loads to do.

Brussels.

I thought it was awful too! So dirty…Bruges was beautiful tho

Portmeirion. It looks lovely but the reality is all the buildings are hotel rooms. There are 2 shops selling overpriced homewares and a couple of places to eat. There isn't actually anything to do and it only takes about an hour to walk round the whole place.

Oh God, so true
Its not cheap to get in and we kept wondering when we would get to the main bit (there wasn't one)

billiongulls · 25/01/2026 14:06

Peterborough. The cathedral is lovely but that's all it's got

Someone posted that the Fens are creepy at night, well I suppose everywhere is..

Figcherry · 25/01/2026 14:07

Rotterdam
St. Lucia, beautiful but unless you're into water sports totally boring.

Valencia was dull, dull, dull. Also a week in rural Austria nearly tipped me into depression and made me realise I am not into scenery as the focal point of a holiday.

What did you find dull about Valencia? The bars and restaurants, beach, architecture, shops, museums? All in sunshine too.

familyissues12345 · 25/01/2026 14:08

Kiel. We had a stop there for the day on a cruise. It pissed it down all day, kind of suited the city itself - dull, dull and more dull

WafflePlusWord · 25/01/2026 14:08

The tank museum in Dorset. Never want to see another tank in my life. There were just too many tanks, I mean I know the clue is in the name, but there were just too many. I really hate tanks now.

Norway

BillieWiper · 25/01/2026 14:08

Loads of places are boring. Industrial Estates, motorway services, council offices, shops that sell things you aren't interested in, suburbs where everything looks the same and there are seemingly no cultural landmarks or meaningful things to do or look at...

I remember being refused entry to Alton Towers due to drunkenness aged 16 and having to sit on a grass verge to sober up. Then refused again so hitched into Stoke. That seemed quite boring. I think we sat in the McDonald's. That's not to say they're might be somewhere interesting somewhere in the town.

But probably less frustrating than queueing up for three hours for a two minute ride?!

Edited

Agree with you about St Lucia, nothing really to do, lovely looking but very quiet. I couldn't do a two week holiday there

How exciting is the rest of your life that Iceland is the most boring place you've ever been 😱

SlimShandy · 25/01/2026 14:09

Brussels was pretty dull.
We did have a particularly horrific 10 days in La Manga off-season. We didn't have a car, and there were only 2 restaurants open within walking distance (one of which was reminiscent of a Bournemouth B&B circa 1970). I had a 3 year-old and was pregnant so couldn't even drink to cheer myself up, and the place was absolutely swarming with mosquitoes.

tara66 · 25/01/2026 14:09

St Kitts and Guernsey.

Rome. Olds monuments don't do it for me.

Brussels.

Also, Munich.

Milan. Admittedly it has a spectacular cathedral and a very boujee Trafford Centre, but that’s as much as I could see. People rave about it so there’s obviously a lot that I missed but I couldn’t find it!

No Milan is a terribly boring city. The cathedral and shopping part near it are really all that is worth visiting

I am a bit 😮however at the poster who found Rome and Florence boring . I will admit to finding Bologna and Parma a bit boring nowadays but that is because I visit so often, I've done most of the touristy stuff . They are definitely both worth a visit if you have never been. Bologna more so as it is bigger with more to see and both have fantastic food in almost every place you eat at

Just goes to show how we are all different though 😂

Sproutling · 25/01/2026 14:12

Redcar?
....with Kirkleatham museum, Bellamy Pavillion exhibitions, Kirkleatham Walled Garden, Owl Centre, beautiful safe beach, leading to The South Gare scenic point with fascinating history, The Stray looking towards Saltburn, (voted one of the best views in Britain) Errington Woods with spectacular views, multi screen cinema with live NT/RO screenings, I could go on.... that Redcar??
